What attraction has the most Disney "Magic"?

Peter Pan or Dumbo.

They are "only Disney" rides...as in no other place could make these rides. Splash can be replicated (lots of log rides) Tower of Terror can be replicated.

But you can't replicate Dumbo or Peter Pan. The nostalgia is like 99% of the awesomeness and that can't be copied.

Classic attractions: Pirates, Haunted Mansion, Peter Pan
Newer shows and attractions: Fantasmic, Mickey's Philharmagic, Toy Story Midway Mania!

Ooh. Might have to change mine to Fantasmic. My favorite show ever. Nothing like sitting out on a warm summer evening being lightly splashed in the front row - watching those amazing special effects.

And doing the wave before the show. How classic is that?

Mine is the castle and the tree of life. The sight of those will 'Wow' me each and everytime I lay eyes on them.
They are my wow factor and the shows surpass the rides for me.
Celebrate the Magic, FOTLK and Fantasmic!! Cant wait for ROL, I am sure to be brought to tears, LOL

Certainly attractions like Carousel of Progress (a personal fav as well), and The Enchanted Tiki Room are Disney at its heart. They are originals after all, and were technological marvels in their time. I find it sad that people walk out of the Tiki room these days, and don't understand the history behind it. WDW should really have the full version though. There's no good explanation as to why they have a cut down version compared to the DL one.

I feel like Living With The Land fits this as well, in that it's educational and entertaining, and shows off modern technology while also respecting the past. I always ride that one on my trips.

The amazing thing about Disney is there is always something new to discover everywhere, even for those who have gone many times.

My vote is for Splash Mountain. Great theming, a good thrill and a throwback to a classic (albeit controversial) Disney film from Walt's era. It has it all. When I think of the quintessential Disney ride I think of Splash Mountain.

I find that character M&G's provide the most Disney Magic. Some of the interactions are great and seeing the kids as they meet their favourite characters is priceless.

To me pure "Disney Magic" is Pirates, Haunted Mansion, and Peter Pan. I love the classics.

Main Street Electrical Parade. It's one of the few things I have memories of as a child and now watching my own children enjoy it is really a highlight for me every time we've gone!

This is a really good question. I'm going to say in this order:

  • Splash Mountain
  • Philharmagic
  • Toy Story Mania
  • Haunted Mansion
  • Pirates

If I chose one that I could ride over and over it would be Haunted Mansion, mainly because of the ballroom scene.

If I could only ride 5 rides for the whole WDW experience I would ride Spaceship Earth, Small World, Haunted Mansion, Carousel of Progress and Peter Pan.

I love many more rides and experiences but those are the ones that to me mean I've been to disney.

Got to give another vote for Splash Mountain (the perfect family attraction too), and I'll add Tower of Terror to my list as well.
Honorable mention: Space Mountain... The first time we went to disney I was a kid in 1976 and when we rode Space Mountain I thought that was the best thing in the entire world and our family had a huge discussion as to how fast the cars were going. And in the dark, we thought the cars were zooming around at like 60 mph. :rotfl2:

Haunted mansion and pirates are so elaborate and awe striking when you think about it. Splash mountain is pure fun. I also can't forget Small World, Country Bears, and the Tiki Room!

If I could only choose one, it would be Splash Mountain hands down.

But I would also add — Tower of Terror, Space Mountain, Spaceship Earth, Pirates, Haunted Mansion, Tiki Room, Small World, the American Adventure & Peter Pan.

(Oh, and the original Figment ride. That might even top the list if it was still running.)

Disneyland: Alice in Wonderland, Mr. Toads, Storybookland Canal boats, Pirates and Haunted Mansion
WDW: Haunted Mansion, Peter Pan, Tower of Terror, Soarin'
