I am looking to make one more ADR for a TS in Epcot during our Free Dining Trip in August. Our family of four consist of two food loving adults and two chicken finger loving kids (pizza, mac and cheese, etc. as well) We have already tried the San Angel Inn, loved the atmosphere, but thought the food was rather dull. Anyways, we would like to try two new places. What are your two favorite places to eat in Epcot? Thanks for answering.

(1) Garden Grill
(2) Someplace new in World Showcase. We still haven't been to them all! The ones we have been to have all been good experiences: Le Cellier, Akershus, Chefs de France, Rose & Crown, Marrakesh. I've tried to put them in order of how much I liked them but there aren't any I wouldn't go back to.

We love Le Cellier. Our DD13 loves it there. She'll get the child's steak or if she's in the mood, she'll eat off the regular menu. We also like Teppanyaki Dining Room - that's always a fun time. And since my DD13 is in her 3 yr of German at school, we, in her words, "HAVE TO" :sad2: go to Biergarten every year. She likes to speak in German with the CM's - the food is good only if you like German food though. HTH

Coral Reef, especially for the kids-it's like watching tv during dinner for them and they're entranced, especially when the big turtle swims by.

The italian restaurant, uh, name escapes me at the moment, we like to eat there after dark and sit outside. Wonderful food, very good wine!

Rose and Crown and Chefs de France are both superb.

thanks so much for your replies. What a variety of favorites! I guess it is different strokes for different folks. We love italian (good wine as well), seafood, German... well as you can see, we love almost everything. I don't think that we can go wrong.

We love Biergarten. The food is good, the salads are awsome (cucumber dill, beet...mmm!) The snitzel is good, the sausage, and the pretzel bread...I could just sit there and eat salad and pretzel bread! :hyper: It is a buffet, so you can eat as much as you want and whatever you want. There are still the standard kids items, but they may even try some rotisserie chicken or sausage, too.

There is also a oompah band that plays every half hour after noon. They are fun to watch, and you can polka on the dance floor too. The kids really enjoy the bell playing, and the long horns, and they teach you a German toast you yell out every once in a while ("ticky-tacky, ticky-tacky, oy, oy, OY!") The decor is great, set up like an Octoberfest festival in a village in Germany. My kids love it (dd8 and ds10 last trip). :goodvibes

We love Alfredos (great Italian food and the best sangria I've ever had), so that would be my first choice.

Behind that come a bunch of Epcot restaurants I really love: Garden Grill, Le Celier, Teppenyaki, Rose and Crown.

Alfredo di Roma (Italy Pavillion) and San Angel Inn (Mexico Pavillion).

Le Cellier was the best!!! others we tried I wouldn't even recommend...

Well... with help from you folks and DH our dining choices are:

1. Le Cellier
2. Alfredo di Roma
3. San Angel Inn... DH said why not do 3 meals in Epcot? We have 8 nights and we do love Epcot. Thanks for all your great reviews.

You will love love love Le Cellier...
If anyone is into seafood you would also probably like Coral Reef...we love the entertainment during dinner with the divers and the fish! :fish: :fish:
