What are your thoughts on this one?

I will be booking either a 2 bed and 5 studios at either OKW or SSR. One of the studios needs to be smoking, one neds to be ground floor for medical reasons (my Aunt & Uncle would not be able to do stairs at all), the rest nothing special.


Dates: June 5th - 9th

My question is how spread out do you think we will be? Is there much chance we will get in the same building or buildings very close to each other? Or are we likely to be very spread out over either of these resorts?

I don't know about SSR, but at you'd probably be able to be in the same "group" of buildings at OKW. I think that whole buildings are smoking optional, not just units and floors, so you will not be in the same building if even one room needs to be non-smoking. Never fear! Member services will do their best to put you close to each other.

You may be better off at SSR. Since the buildings are larger and have both non-smoking and optional rooms in each building, all of your needs could likely be available in one building. Every SSR building has elevators, so access shouldn't be an issue anyplace at the resort.

OKW has two smoking optional buildings (19 and 41). You can request that your villas be near each other, but all buildings are either non-smoking or smoking optional- so all rooms can't be in one building. If you decide on OKW, I'd request that all villas be in the Miller Road area or Old Turtle Pond area and as close to each other as possible.
