What are your Pop Century Resort's "Everything Pop Food Court" reviews, photos, prices?

I really can't wait to be there in several weeks. I really enjoyed reading the food photo threads and food blogs.

I always wanted to try the Beef and Bleu Sandwich, $9.19, but I never really enjoyed bleu cheese taste. The cast members say that the sandwiches are already pre-made, and they could not make them with any other dressings.

Last year, I really enjoyed the breakfast pizza I think with whole grain, eggs and sausage. I can't remember anything else on the pizza, and it is not listed on any other menus.

I also enjoyed the Mom's Night Out comfort food Fried Chicken Dinner for $8.99 in classic three-compartment TV-dinner tins that was offered on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday evenings from 4 to 10pm.

My favorite for years has been the Mediterranean Chicken flatbread. It's one of my all time favorite foods anywhere I have ever eaten. My DS (22) loved the Mom's night out fried chicken dinner, especially the green beans. He had that all 3 nights it was offered. He liked, not loved the beef and blue. I had a bite, it was pretty good. I also like the chicken ceasar salad and the Greek salad. the tie dyed cheese cake that people rave about was okay, but all I could think about was how much food coloring I was ingesting! My son loved all the sundae choices.

Sorry, no pics! We are always on the dining plan so I don't pay attention to prices either.

Hi, Letsbgoofy. I love your name. I am going to have to try the Mediterranean Chicken flatbread this time. I liked those green beens, too. I am trying to think what was so special about them. I know that they had onions and maybe garlic. Those hot fudge sundaes are so addicting. No worries about no pics. Thank you for your reply.

My fave thing to get is the Reuben flatbread without the corned beef (so pretty much sauerkraut, swiss, and 1000 Island flatbread). It is amazing...and HUGE!

I took a gazillion pictures with all the pricing on our May/June 2011 trip (much to my kids dismay:rolleyes1) Here is the link:

We have spent our past 4 trips at POP and have had the chance to eat many meals there. One vacation DS8 became very sick during our stay so we ate a LOT of meals at the food court. Here are our thoughts:

Chicken Mediterranean Flatbread - one of our favorites! If you love olives you will love this. If you don't, you won't.
Chicken Caesar Salad - not bad - a bit soggy.
Turkey Ciabatta - I love this - I ALWAYS have this for lunch on the day we check in - it is good size!
Asian Chicken Salad - DH thought this was just ok.
Beef and Bleu Sandwich - had this one last trip and thought it was good...nothing great that I would hurry back for.
Greek Salad - I enjoyed this very much. Very fresh.
Cheesesteak Wrap - DH tried this twice and thought it was not good - very greasy.
Angus Cheeseburger - I loved it - must have been in the mood for a burger.;)
Meatball Sub with Salad - YUK - sauce was terrible and the texture of the meatballs were...umm..grainy. me no likey.
Cheese Pizza - same as everywhere in the World.
Beef and Broccoli - DH liked this, but honestly he could eat bad chinese out of sneaker and think it was ok - so take that for what it is worth.;)
Nachos Supreme - DH and DS8 love these - we don't love that they love these.:rolleyes1

We have eaten many breakfasts there as well and have enjoyed everything. POP waffles are yummy, all the pastries, bagels..etc..
We are one of the few folks who do NOT like the tye-dye cheesecake ..too weird for us. But the ice cream sundaes for dessert are amazing! HUGE!! We get two and split them between the 4 of use - PLENTY of sugar for all.

Enjoy! :goodvibes

That was so funny about your husband and the sneaker. Thank you chocovrdmicears for the link with the menu photos and your reviews.

Although I have been known to eat a sneakersub sandwich.

I'm not sure how they make them, but I made my own copycat at home. I fry shallots in butter and olive oil, steam the beans, and add them to the shallots with a little salt and pepper. They taste close and maybe even better.

I forgot about the Supreme Nachos!

I get it without the chili. No meat at all. Just lots of veggies, guac, and sour cream. Plus the "cheese".
