What are your plans for the weekend?

I am picking up my 2 new kitties tonight. Getting them settled into their new home this weekend, and playing. Lots of playing.

We are having a neighborhood pig roast tomorrow. It sould be alot of fun. Dd and her friends decided to collect all of the cans and bottles consumed tomorrow (5cents each) and donate all of the money to the Red Cross. I am very proud of her, and it gives us all an excuse to drink a little more!!

Tomorrow morning I'm getting my hair cut very early. Tomorrow night I've got to go review a Papa Roach show. Everything else depends on what the rescue orgs I volunteer for need me for.

I was going to start a thread to ask this question, but maybe somebody here can help?

My aunt lives in Pass Christian, MS, and is basically without everything. She is currently staying at her sister-in-laws house with no electricity, water, etc. We live just south of Tampa. If we (my mother and I) drove up there and got her would we even be able to buy gas somewhere on I75 and I10 to refuel? Here in my town, gas is almost gone.

Any DISsers in the area that can let me know?

We are going to Adventure Island (Busch Garden's water park) tomorrow, and just relaxing, so we can get a break for a while from all the sadness. The rest of the weekend we are just hanging around home, conserving our gas.

There is still a little in Tampa, but many of the stations that do have some only have one grade.

As much as my DH won't want to do it, we have got to do some major cleaning. Since the kids and I have gone back to school everything has gotten bad! We have to do both the regular picking up and the good deep cleaning. I'm at the point where I can't stand to be home right now...

Part of the problem - DD1 is in her 'I want to take everything out of the drawers and cabinets stage' and she has been sick, cranky and very needy this past week. Hold me, hold me!
