What are your plans for the weekend?

I am thinking of running out to the grocery store before it gets to hot. I have been told by my transplant Dr's to stay in and out of the heat, if I needed to go out to do so before it get's to HOT!.. Also my blood levels are high, from the med switch, and they will be doing more lab test this coming week.

So I will be staying inside, doing some more trip planning and some cleaning. I might watch some of my video's from past trips to WDW!

We were going to organize our garage but not in 100°+ heat. I think we will stay inside and keep cool. We haven't hung any pictures yet so maybe we will do that.

My neice has a softball tournament - 2 games today - up to 3 tommorrow - at it is soo hot.

A trip to Sam's club and our church opens our new building tommorrow. We have been meeting in a movie theater for 5 years - the building looks incredible and sound is amazing.

Sunday night I need to prep meals for the week as my neice has a tournament next week also with a game every night.

Today I am taking a disabled (totally bed bound) father to the church so that he can see his daughter get married. Actually, he just got out of University of MD yesterday, so it depends on if he is up to it.

Tomorrow we head to Raystown Lake to spend the day playing on the water.

Two day golf tournament with my wife. It's going to be HOT. Need to take in plenty of fluids...I think beer is 50% water....

My day is full. It is a gorgeous day and there is nothing i would rather do this afternoon that sit by the pool. But my nephew has am All Star baseball game this morning, then i have a baby shower in the afternoon, then hurry over to my nephew's next game after the shower. We are thinking about taking our girls to the zoo later today and then go to the Providence water fires this evening.

Both of my boys are playing ball today so we have to split and conquer. I will be going with DS10,he plays at 10:00 and 2:00.After that we are going to a cookout at a friend's house.Tomorrow DS10 will still be playing ball.When it is over we will be at our pool. I am not looking forward to the heat.

Busy weekend here...DH's getting married at 2, in an old church with no air conditioning, and the reception is in the church hall at 5. Sure hope there is an air conditioned someplace to hang out from 3 to 5

One of DH's brother/family will be staying overnight tonight, they are in town for the wedding. So - with our 3 and their 6 - we'll have a fun evening. I love when this family visits. This SIL is my favorite. Note to self, pick up a nice bottle of wine.

Tomorrow morning we are hosting a brunch for all of DH's sibs/families, since everyone will be in town for the wedding. So - brunch for 24 will be starting about 9:30...We're serving stuffed french toast, scrambled eggs, and a cherry bread and banana bread. (DH is one of 8 kids, so anytime they are all together, there is a crowd.) I was hoping that some of the kiddos would play outside tomorrow a.m., but with the heat they are predicting, think that we'll just be cozy in our house.

Going to a concert at Gillette Stadium Sunday. I am not looking forward to tailgating in a parking lot with 90* plus degree weather. My boy friends back is really bothering him so I said............"It won't hurt my feelings if we don't go. You will be uncomfortable You can sell the tickets if you want." Drats he wants to go.
I like the performers that are goint to be there , but man the heat I don't like!

We have a taekwondo picnic from 9-4 at a local park and then we are going to my friends block party from 5-midnight...so we are pretty booked up today. TOmorrow we are going to see POTC and then hang out in my pool with some friends.

I have a breakfast meeting at nine (right now I have hair color on, so I am just waiting to wash it out).

After the meeting, I will come home and clean house and fix food for a reunion tonight. I have to pick DD up at camp at 2 and then they have camp graduation at 3. I have no idea what camp graduation is, so thats a surprise! Then I have to drive to our reunion.

DH is painting the kids bathroom. So this evening I can decorate it with all the cute stuff I bought. DS has a birthday party I will be bringing him to this afternoon. Tomorrow is the lazy days of Sunday.

We will be hanging out by the pool or in the house with AC.. the heat really bothers me, but my husband does not mind it..

On Sunday, we will be be heading up north to Mackinac Bridge and Mackinac Island for 3 nights. We stay at a rustic little hotel right on the straits with a view of the island and a great pool!! We have been going up here for many years.

On the way back home I will be meeting my Mom and one of my sisters for a one night visit to a hotel/casino. DH and boys will come straight home.

My birthday is tomorrow, but I am away from all of my family and friends back in California, except for my boyfriend.

So last night, I went out with my boyfriend and his friend to a couple of bars in central London, ending up at one of my favourite places, Strawberry Moons - its a very cheesy, 80s/90s club but loads of fun! Everyone is always in a happy, party mood, not pretentious at all, and the drinks and music are always great. I had a great time despite missing everyone back home.

Today, I spent the morning tidying up our flat - we work long hours all week so by Saturday its just a disaster! Later its grocery shopping time. Tonight, I can't decide what to do! Possibly go to a pub for a meal, or go for a walk along the Thames if its nice out.

Tomorrow we are trying a Mexican food place in Covent Garden recommended by all the Americans on my expat forum. I hope its tasty as I really miss good Mexican food!
