What are your plans for adding to your DVC points?

I was curious to see what others had planned for adding to their DVC points. I have been debating a small add-on and then I'm held back with the thought that maybe in a year or so a new DVC will be announced and I'll want to save for that. Then I wonder if the next deal will roll around.... Just wondering what others have planned.

I know that I will add-on but I'm sitting on the fence as to when and where

Me too. I know I won't add on if they do a CRV.

If they do Eagle Pines, I might I might not. I might just add on to my SSR points figuring it would be pretty easy to get into EP if it's as big as SSR or OKW.

If they announce a Poly DVC I would be all over that like white on rice.

I want to add-on at BWV. It bothers me some that the contract has 12 years less on it than my SSR contract does, but I really LOVE that resort, especially the BW view villas. I've been lucky to secure BW view villas on our off-season, last-minute trips this year, but that won't always be the case. So I'm trying to decide what to do. I'd also like to add on at CRV if they ever come about, but DH wouldn't be all that interested. I personally don't much care for CR but I really like it's location and access to the monorail.

I have until this time next year to consider it, so until then, I'll keep dreaming and planning.

YEP!! I have DVCites......it is the sickness of doing add-ons....

I don't think there is a cure?

I would like to see them do DVC at Poly, but I think the next DVC will be over on the golf course. They had plans prior to SSR, and I think they will re-open the old plans, etc..........

If they open villas at the GF or Poly I'm in, otherwise 300 points at SSR is enough for me

I really don't need any more DVC points. I've got enough to meet my vacation needs. That said, I don't think I'd be able resist a small add-on if there were ever DVCs added at Animal Kingdom Lodge or Grand Calfornian.

No real plans to add on. We have a "fact finding" trip to OKW in June. Maybe in a few years, our 5 member DS and family may "need" a GV if we want to be with them in the villa, and if OKW is what people say, large rooms, great for families, then maybe a OKW add on for the GV, for 5 nights, whatever number of points it would take to go with them every other year.

I really want VB! We went there last month and loved it. I would love to have a Beach Cottage every 2-3 years!

CR... I was really considering with all the hoopla, but I don't know. The architecture is less then inspiring but oh so close to MK!

AKL would really interest me but that would be quite a few years from now, after CR.

After blowing through 2 years worth of points in 1 year (banked points on the resale we purchased) and now having to live within our point "means" this year we'd like to add on around 100 points at BCV.

Unless I fall in love with OKW when we try it out later this month!

I think were good for now. If they ever do a Disneyland DVC or Hawaii I might have to reconsider.

I went through my case of add-on-itis during the F & F promo, the only cure was to add 120 points last Dec. And to think it all started with a 100 point resale contract, thought that would be enough.

I would only buy the Poly or AKL. In order to do that I may have to sell some points that I have now.

I'll be adding an additional 150 points at SSR (I own 150 there now - Dec UY) later this year - using proceeds from the sale of a house . Then, I'll wait for Eagle Pines (please!) and do a small add-on there - I LOVE golf!

We really don't need any more points, but if we did add more, it would only be to our BWV or HH contracts. Of course, now that I am recently back from BWV, another 100 points there sounds like a great idea! I would not buy more points at a different "home".

We talked about this and decided that we like having all our points and our current home. We don't take short trips, don't want to move, and like our two bedroom - which means there is no "small add on at another resort that gives you enough points." We'd be adding 100 instead of 25 or 50. And that would be far too many points for the number of trips we want to take.

We have enough points for our family. But if Disney were to offer AKL or CR we would buy more. I just want them to wait awhile, we have three more years on our loan.

We're planning on eventually trying to add 80 points at BCV. We own 50 points there now, so the extra 80 would come in mighty handy for 11 month booking. I think we'll wait until we pay some of these others off, though...

Our 300 SSR points are more than enough for us, and none of the other rumored WDW DVC resorts would cause us to buy more. The only situation I could see causing us to buy more is if they opened up something at Disneyland, like the Grand Californian. Being Phoenicians (actually, Glendalians), having a DVC a 5-hour drive away would be great.
