Yeah I get it from that point of view.
It's not even about being mature/logical for me, it's so I don't do something I'll regret later. I say that so I don't turn back to old habits triggered by emotions, and I can talk myself out of them.

Everything happens for a reason, so don't sweat the small stuff and just concentrate on the good.
The way I look at it, if something bad happens I can waste my time crying about it or I can try to be optimistic and keep having fun.

And to be fearless in always proudly showing who you truly are, quirks and all.

Anyway, generally I try my best to be a good person but I don't let that get in the way of saying what I think about something. I also try to live my life to the fullest and do things that I enjoy and that make me happy. I also believe you can't say "I love you" enough and never miss an opportunity to say it.
