What are your MVMCP dining plans?

As of right now, we have an ADR at Chef Mickey's at 5:40, which I think is too late.

Last year, I wanted a 5:30 for Chef Mickey's but the closest they had was 6:00. I decided to show up at 5:30 and see what happened, and they seated me within 5 minutes, which was plenty of time.

that morn Im doing the 2hr segway tour at EpCot
then I have lunch at Norway with the princesses
then Im listening to a set or 2 of Off Kilter
then Im going to MVMCP

then at midnight its my 50th bday!

Thank you so much for that information. I feel better if I can't switch. My plan B was to go at 5:00 and see if they could sit us earlier. If not then we would look around at the decorations at CR.

What time did you end up getting to MK and did you find it difficult to get in?

See I wasn't happy w/ 5pm. I think by the time you are done w/ dinner it is well after 6pm and I don't want to miss out on doing anything in the park. I know that the party doesn't officially start until 7pm but I still want to take in every moment.

That is why we are doing our "dinner" at CP at 3:30pm.

I can't wait! :santa:

We had a 5:20 ADR at LTT during MNSSHP. I felt it was too late. When we were done with our meal, there was a big crowd in the area, rides were busy and there were long lines for characters and trick or treating. i think our night was busy in general, but I wish we could have gotten and early start. We were done with our meal at 6:15pm, and the party was not supposed to start until 7pm, but all activities were going on already...:confused3

We've done MVMCP several times, and always have a great time!!! We find having a good but late lunch works best for us, and then we grab a snack or something during the party. The last couple of years, we've gotten a hot dog at Caseys!!!

This year, we'll relax a little at the hotel, and DD is doing BBB at DTD, then we'll have a late lunch (maybe at Kona's or one of the DTD restaurants), then we'll head over to the party! And the plan is for some late night hot dogs again!!! They're really pretty good!!!

Have a great time at the party!!!!!

We like to do the Tea at the Grand Floridian, then go over to MK at 4:00 for the party. Grab some CS at some point during the party.

Great tips and suggestions. Thanks. This is our first time doing MVMCP, and I'm SO excited. I had originally tried for 5:30 ressies at LTT, but they only had 4:30 available. Looking at the posts here, I'm glad we wound up going earlier.

Its our first park day, so we'll be hunkering down in MK for most of the day. I had planned on going back to ASSp for a nap with DD and DH (DD is 2 1/2), but I'm thinking about just pushing it this day and seeing if he'll nap in the stroller. We'll just have to play it by ear.

But, light breakfast and ease into MK day, then early lunch. "Early" dinner at LTT at 4:30, and hit the party and activities at night. (I'm sure there will be much munching and snacking during the party to make up for the early dinner.)

Any other tips from those who have done MVMCP before, especially with little ones would be great. I don't really know what I'm getting into, although I know it will be awesome!

Wow! I just looked over the last post and realized I've gone from Earning my Ears to Mousketeer! Neat. I'm going to have to go treat myself to a candy bar or something... mmmm...

Last year we went to Epcot when back to the resort to change and then had dinner at ltt

We're dining at Crystal Palace @ 4:50pm.....it's are arrival day, so it'll be our first DINING of the trip, and since we'll have been traveling all day, we'll be EXTRA-hungry !!!! popcorn::

Cape May for breakfast, Dh will head over and do Richard Petty, Kids and I will hang out at pool then rest up for an hour or so, head to MK around 4PM and do a Counter Service at MK during the party.

We did CP at 5:25 last year for MNSSHP but we felt it ate into our time at the MK.

We're doing MVMCP the day we transfer hotels from US. The plan at the moment is to arrive a the GF, check in to our room and go to the GF tea. Thought we would probably catch some CS later. We've done LTT before MNSSHP, which was great fun, but we are planning to go there for Christmas Day.

Me, ds10, and dd8 are going to MVMCP on 11/16, our arrival day. Dh is driving us 2 hours to the airport that morning, and we plan to have a big breakfast somewhere along the way. We have a 4:30 adr at 1900 Park Fare, and we should be ready to eat! Hopefully, we'll be in MK and ready for the party by 6:00.

We have 5 p.m. ressie at Ohana's and hope to get finished and hop the monorail over to MK just in time for the party... It's our first MVMCP, too so we can't wait!!

We are doing CP at 5 before starting the party. Probably laying low early in the day with swim time or some shopping.

Funny you should ask. I was curious about that myself, so I checked my pictures (which are time-stamped) and I have one of the sign right outside the entrance that lists the date for the MVMCP that's stamped a few minutes after 7:00, and no, I didn't find it difficult to get in at all.

We will be dining at LTT @ 4:30. We decided since we have a 4 y/o, we would take it easy that day and not do a park until the party.

We are going to go to WCC and have a 5:20 ADR. I'm hoping to arrive at 5 and be seated a little early. I figure an hour to eat and then the boat ride to the MK should get us there right at 7.
