As title says, what are your must have souvenirs for a WDW trip?

I'd love to hear them whether obvious or obscure, as I'd love some ideas for some great take home items! :)

I really want a Figment plush. I got one when I went as a child (over 20 years ago) and loved it.

I hope they still sell them!

Other than that it'll be the ears hats for the kids and a Mickey balloon.

I always tend to buy an air freshener:rotfl: Disney have ones based on items they sell be it a Turkey Leg flavour air freshener:confused3 or nicer smells like Mickey Ice cream or the new one, a Dole Whip etc..
The other thing I always buy is a Disney character that you can clip on your bag, a bit like a Kipling monkey!
Then we always buy a pin with the current year on it. :goodvibes

We try to get a magnet and mug for whichever resort we stay in.
It can be hard to find one that isn't a giant American coffee cup!

My wife and I each get a coffee mug.
I like to get a cool pin with the year on it and some disney dollars to keep for the kids. My favorite thing though is a pic with sorcerer Mickey.
We get one every time and it's fun to see how the family has grown and the kids get older.

Aerial topper for the car.
Fridge magnet.
Plushie.
Key ring.
Ears.

DD gets a design your own tee from the shop in DTD - started when she went for her trip as a baby and got one every trip since :goodvibes

Each one has the same wording except for the date and trip number :thumbsup2

She loves doing it and we have a nice collection as memories :goodvibes

We always buy a tree decoration from the xmas shop in DTD no matter what time of year it is, we have hundreds of pounds worth of decorations on our tree! lol We get a tree deco and fridge magnet for each country we visit, there isn't a decoration on our tree from the Uk. :rotfl:

Although I haven't been to WDW yet, I have standard things I buy in DLRP (and will try and do the same in WDW):

A Christmas tree decoration with the year on (I have these from every year I've been and also lots of other DLRP Disney decorations on one of our trees). We have a 'kids' tree which has all these on as well as decs they've made along the years .

A pin of the hotel we are staying in - I have two types of the DLH, the old version and the new when they changed it. And also of any favourite rides.

A fridge magnet

A small plushie type keyring

I am hoping to get a WDW aerial topper for both of our cars as we've never seem them to buy here.

I am sure we'll buy a fair bit of stuff, can't believe the prices of Disney memorabilia over there compared to Paris and the UK Disney stores.... :rolleyes2

Always come home with fridge magnet(usually bottle opener style), something with the year on it and for some strange reason, park napkins(the free ones u get with a meal)

Yeah, we seem to collect the round little napkins they put under your drink - bit like coasters but a napkin with logo on. Do they do those in WDW?

Pins and my refillable mug for me :) And a tshirt or two!

A fridge magnet, pins for the kids and a Christmas decoration from Germany in EPCOT :thumbsup2

Top of my list this year will be a new aerial topper as some b has stolen my Scotland Mickey ears ones :(

We don't really buy much in the way of souvenirs now. One thing we always buy on every visit is the WDW fridge magnet for that year. We also normally buy an aerial topper. And we often buy magnets from the various different resorts we stay at.

Otherwise, the only sure fire souvenir we come back with is a few extra pounds in weight ;)

Funny story! My daughter came home from work this afternoon and said: "Mum, somebody stole the aerial off my car".

She said "I looked at my car and thought oh, my aerial topper's missing and then realised that's because my whole aerial was missing" :rotfl:

Another one for aerial balls we collect them and put them on the twig/stick lights in a large vase in the hall :)

We've also done fridge magnets and pressed pennies :)

Ours is always a xmas dec or 2 or 3.... Lol

We always normally buy few bits each, I have a new found love for Basin!!
Dh has a pretty expensive must have each trip, its a new star wars lego set like the X- wing? think that's what it's called lol he has at least 10 huge models in a case in the lounge!! So that sets him back around £200 or more each trip which is fine as I then buy pretty bits for my spends lol,

I love getting a couple of pins! But and now this is a weird one, back in 2007 I bought my beloved cat some Aristocats toys they were in a pack of 4 (pink, white, black and brown with the Aristocats faces on and filled with some some of agent to make cats go loopy!) and I've looked every year I've been since and just can't seem to get any more. He loves them, they've stood up to his kicking for many years now but another packet would be nice!
