What are your kids asking you for this Christmas?

Under the tree is going to be rather small this year.

DD10 and DS15 both want to go to summer camp for extra sessions this year (a total of 4 weeks for each of them) -- a very expensive undertaking -- so a good deal of Christmas will be that.

DD wants a DSi, but I just don't see the value of it when she's got a perfectly good DS ... Maybe someone can convince me? It's all she wants.

DS needs boring clothes (socks and underwear), so I'll probably get that. Not sure what else.

We're going to Disney the week before Christmas as well, so we're broke for the next year!

If you want to order zhu zhu pets but don't want to spend the amazon price, there is website that sells them for around $13. Also, on ebay last night, a guy had 4 zhu zhu's listed for 84 or best offer. I offered 50, he countered with 63 (including shipping). I took the 63 offer, I figured that is would save me the time of driving around and/or calling. PM if you want the website. I ordered accessories fromt he website.

I had to laugh when I saw how many kids want the Touch and Brush. My DS6 is getting that and he really wants a Snuggie. Even more proof of the power of Nickeloden advertising, he's also getting Zhu Zhu pets. I think I'm just gonna watch nick for a few hours to get more ideas.

LOL I saw that at AC Moore the other day. Love the idea but DS is the worlds pickiest eater. At age 6 he still has never even tried a brownie...or a cupcake...or a cookie other than chocolate chip or sugar...etc. he really doesn't know what he is missing.

Im 25 and have 3 dollhouses. A big fisher price one that Ive had since I was five, a wood one my mom built and one that was a REALLY cool kit from Micthels craft store (only $8 and $5 for a funiture kit). I still play with them, even cooler when I can con my freinds kids into joining me.

If anyones instrested the dollhouse kits are actully pretty easy to asemble (once you stop trying to fallow the pictures) and the funiture is sturdy. No glue for either. My niece is in her 30's and had a dollhouse that my sister built from a kit and had all kinds of really pretty collectible type of furniture for it. It is still in great condition and when her own daughter was 5 she cleaned it up (it was in storage), got a few new pieces of furniture and put it under the Christmas tree. Her daughter is now 9 and DN plans to put it back in storage for a future, someday grandchild. Its a great family tradition.

Dd and I saw that commercial the other night and she said she wants to get me that for Christmas so I'll bake more. I told her sorry, thats not on my list

I'm really late this year too, and I really don't want to start thinking about it yet. Seems the longer I spend planning and thinking, the more stuff I buy. This year I'm going to focus on stuff the kids need, along with some fun stuff thrown in.

My 8 year old son wants legos legos legos legos. I have 5 sets in the closet(TRU had buy 2 get 1 free a couple of weeks ago) for him. He wants MySims Secret Agents, but DD wnats that too, so he wants to get it for her for her birthday, thereby not using up one of his gifts. LOL
Not sure what else-not much, usually we do between 7-10 gifts plus stockings.

My daughter's 10th birthday is later on this month. She is getting the aforementioned MySims Secret Agents for the Wii, and a room makeover-she wants a lilac and pale green room. Her carpet is already light green, so we just need a new comforter, curtains and paint.

For Christmas for her: a netbook, and who knows what else..she hasn;t said she wanted anything. "anything you get me will be fine"..

My kids must be too young yet we have no idea what zhu zhu pets are.

Ever since we moved in July the only thing they have been asking for is a ride on car for outside. Two of the neighbor kids have escallaides they drive up and down the street and that is the only thing my girls want. Santa is bringing it and that is about it. A few clothes and a few small toys but that is their big gift. Fortunately our basement is open enough they can drive it in there for the winter.

my DD12 has never heard of zhu zhu pets. she wants a cell phone (because her BFF has one), american girl kirsten (because she's being discontinued), and she found 4 nintendo DS games she wants. my grandmother will probably get her the american girl doll (she's been feeding this habit for a couple of years, lol), so there's not much i can get her. i considered a computer, because hers is very old and the fan has stopped working. we might also get a nintendo wii for the family.

I do socks for stocking suffers. The kids also usally get somthing from the rez or the last pow- wow. This year moms getting them star books and were making dream catchers (for our christmas eve craft). Ive got this endering urge to buy them Pocohontas and mulan cause they havent seen either (GASP!!!)
