July 2 and 3rd going somewhere on a mini-vacation. Here a list place i thinking going:

Six flags Over Georgia
White Water
Lake Winnie
Dollywood
Splash Country USA
Atlanta Malls
Gatlinburg Aquarium

Everything is within a 2 hour drive so I will get back in time for work.

If rains I going to spend all day in the movies.

July 4 I'm working at the baseball park and watch the fireworks.

DH & I will probably go to our town's Parade in the morning (starting an hour later than usual, since it's on a Sunday!) In the evening, we will probably go into San Ramon and see a pretty good fireworks display. Before San Ramon was a city, fireworks were done with the neighbors setting up in a Toyota Parts lawn area. San Ramon fireworks are pretty much a tradition for us.

Ditto minnie but I refuse to go to the parade... LOL It's a tradition for me that I don't go to that or the tree lighting.

We are having a party here and will go back to our spot (new Bollinger Canyon Country Club Parking Lot) to watch the fireworks, you can see them perfect and there is no traffic at the end

We are headed to Weaverville, CA (northern CA near Mt. Shasta) to visit with some family friends of DH. We will go to a small town parade, fireworks display, etc. On the way down we are finally going to stop at the Wildlife Safari- a drive through safari park near Roseburg OR. We have always talked about doing it, but never have....should be interesting! Kilimanjaro Safaris it won't be, but maybe we will have a close encounter or two---

Going to nephew's in Cleves, Ohio, and watch nephews blow up leftovers with their bottle rockets.

We are spending the day at SAB, PS at Chef Mickeys and then to MK for Wishes
