What are your guilty pleasure songs?

A song that I still really like but everyone else hates is, "Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go." Another one is, "Achy Breaky Heart." Both these songs were very popular when they came out...only later did everyone decide they stunk. :confused3

I like "Hey-Ya." When that FIRST came out, my son's Biology teacher had an extra credit question, "What's cooler than cool?" Most of the kids hadn't heard it yet and tried to come up with Biology-type answers. :)

For all of you who don't know what is cooler than cool, it is ICE COLD! :smooth:

Almosy any ballad by Barry Manilow

What can I say? My mom loved him and I was exposed early on as a child... :confused3

About 10 years ago there was a band called Aqua that sang a song called "Barbie Girl". I love that song, actually I love the whole album but it's a secret shame, only DH knows ... and you ... shhh don't tell anyone.

Vanilla Ice's "Ice, Ice Baby"

By far, the biggest hit at my brother's wedding last year. Everyone was on the dance floor yelling out the lyrics.

Word to your mother

That's one of those songs where everyone thinks they know the words but they really don't. So you just kind of start making stuff up as you go along and every now and then there's a part you remember :rotfl:

Paradise by the Dashboard Lights...I can remember when I was forbidden by my parents to listen to Meatloaf, so it I feel like I'm being a little rebellious when I listen to it! :moped:

I wish my parents had forbidden me to listen to Meatloaf. They are both fans of his and I was forced into listening to his music many times on car rides :rotfl:

I Would Walk 500 Miles by those 2 red headed guys.

BA DA DA DA!

My 13 year old sister loves this song, ever since she saw that Johnny Depp movie, Benny and Joon.

My guilty pleasure song??

Dirrty. Christina Aguilera. It's not unusual to see me on a beautiful summer day driving around in my big sunglasses with all my windows down blasting this song. I don't know why. I love Christina and this song just sticks with me; it's on practically every mix CD I've ever made.

Golddigger, by Kanye West. I have the unedited version and I wonder if it's wrong of me to play it loud since I'm a white girl. :) I guess if he can sing it, I can play it. :goodvibes

BTW, I'm listening to Buttons right now.

Rock Lobster by the B 52's.

I slam danced with my Maid of Honor and several other attendants to this song at the end of my wedding reception - yes, in a big old 15 pound wedding dress. :rotfl: Yet Obi-Wan is still married to me. He did look a little scared there for a while though!

That's awesome! Great song too :teeth:

Almost any song I like is a guilty pleasure since I really have no taste in music. I just like songs that many me happy.

Ice Ice Baby is totally my jam though. I can break out into that song anytime, anyplace.
