What are your go to restaurants?

Planning for our 7th trip and as our ADRs approach I feel like we are in a bit of a rut with dining. What are your go to restaurants? Do you try new places each trip?

Our "do every time" restaurant is Narcoosie's.
We do try new places each trip.
Last trip we tried flying fish. I was expecting better food, but the atmosphere was great.

We visit Trail's End Buffet at Fort Wilderness every trip (sometimes twice). It's a nice buffet filled with comfort food like fried chicken, grilled chicken, a fish selection (usually salmon), ribs, and a carving station where the meat selection rotates. There are also no characters so it is a quieter meal and less expensive.
The last couple of visits we have tried several of the new Disney Springs restaurants. We have found that they seem to have better food quality and honor the DVC discount which makes the cost a little better than some of the park restaurants. Our favorites so far have been The Boathouse and Art Smith's Homecomin'. On our next trip in May, we are going to try the new The Polite Pig.

We try to do both, try new places every trip but hit our favorites. For EPCOT that's Le Cellier and it's really the only in park must now that Liberty tree has changed their format. Out of the parks we try to hit Boatwrights, Narcoossses and Flying Fish regularly. Chef Mickey's favorite Character meal but enjoy a number of them. We have a lot we like and a few we don't care for that much.

Love the Boma buffet at Jambo House - especially ribs night (usually Wed and Saturday). Sushi at Kimonos is great (especially with the 20% DVC discount). Narcoossees is up there.

It's random but the surf and surf burger at AoA and the shrimp and grits at POFQ (the beignets aren't authentic but they are tasty and fun) are turning those resort QS options into favorites.

Don't know if you are referring to Liberty Tree lunch menu, but if so, it has been changed back. Many of the old favorites including the fish and chips are back on the lunch menu. That and now you can get a beer with it.

Our rule is to try at least one new restaurant each trip. Next trip we are wanting to try Homecomin' and food at Beaches and Cream (we only ever do ice cream).

We do Ohana every trip (DH and DS favorite) and a frequent stop is House of Blues (I love their Lobster Mac and Cheese).

We have several that we rotate since we like to add a new one or two on every trip. Lately, it's been Trails End. Also have visited Garden Grill and Rose & Crown (seated outside to watch Illuminations after dinner) many times. This trip we are adding 1 new one that someone here listed as a must do. Like to hear that.

Boma is my favorite, sometimes eating there twice per trip.
My new must do after last trip is Tiffins at AK. I've read a few reviews of Disney Springs restaurants and I think next time I'll explore a bit more these, I ate at Morimoto Asia for lunch and it was very good and not expensive, I would do it again but there are more restaurants I want to try.

Signature:
Artist Point - Though it had a couple of inconsistent years, AP is back on track as a superb dining experience. Excellent food, very good service, topnotch wine list, and one of the most romantic restaurants in the World.
Jiko's - To be fair, we don't hit this place every trip, but we do most times. Again, food, service, and ambiance are top tier. Their wine list is excellent, reportedly having one of the best collections of S. African wines in the state.
TS:
Sanaa - We rarely skip this gem as the bread service alone is worth the effort it takes to get there. Friendly service, views of the animals (during daylight hours), and overall tasty food. Cost is relatively moderate relative to Disney overpricing.

Don't know if you are referring to Liberty Tree lunch menu, but if so, it has been changed back. Many of the old favorites including the fish and chips are back on the lunch menu. That and now you can get a beer with it.

That's good to know, thanks. The dinner setup moving to lunch didn't fit us. I reviewed the menu and you're right, it has changed back somewhat. The pot roast was the issue for us.

We had always liked The Wave, but poor service did us in last week. We're going to skip it for awhile.

Substituting Artist Point. We really enjoy the food and ambiance there.

Most have got too expensive to be truly stand outs. Narcoosees cost me a fortune and was the food was pretty decent, but not outstanding and the service was below average, it was freezing inside, and the waitress walked away with a $70 tip- outrageous. I had a almond encrusted fresh snapper, beer and salad for $25 on 5th Avenue South, Naples, a week later which was better than the Narcoosees meal with better service.

The only one that we really try to go to now is Cape May Café for the clam bake. We always get a car and go off site to get freshly made food at more reasonable prices. Since Disney has out sourced many of their meals, they just do appeal to us any more.

In addition to some park restaurants, we like to take advantage of going to one near the resort we're staying. If we're staying at the Boardwalk or Beach Club, we'll do Cape May Café for breakfast...I have Bon Voyage breakfast booked for October. If we're staying at Animal Kingdom--Boma AND do room service from Sanaa one day (breakfast or dinner). If we're staying on the monorail loop--Ohana breakfast, Luau, Chef Mickeys breakfast, etc. Wilderness lodge--Artist Point and the Hoop Dee Doo Revue.

Favorites in parks: Epcot: San Angel Inn, Garden Grill, Le Cellier. Magic Kingdom: Be Our Guest. Hollywood Studios: Prime Time Café or Hollywood Brown Derby Animal Kingdom: Tusker House.

We love going to 1900 Park Fare on a Magic Kingdom day--usually for dinner, but we'll go for breakfast if we're on the loop.

We've definitely tried to mix it up a bit. Our last 2 trips (1 yr apart), we only had 2 of the same--1900 Park Fare and Be Our Guest. We were traveling with 2 different groups of people. We're trying 2 new ones for our October trip--Skipper Canteen and the Bon Voyage breakfast. Rest of the time we're planning to enjoy the food at the Food and Wine festival, or just do a counter service. It's been a while for San Angel Inn...guess that will have to be in our 4/18 trip as DH and I love it.

Maya Grill is good for dinner (that's the only meal they are open for serving). We also like to hit Olivia's especially if we are staying at OKW. If our son is dining with us, we'll hit Ohana and Narcoossee's. We may give LTT a lunch try since they now have put the pot roast back on the menu. But they don't have the original Pilgrim's Feast (turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberries) and only have turkey with the platter. We've done The Wave for breakfast often since they have Eggs Benedict on the menu, but we might try Grand Floridian Café for breakfast since they have returned Eggs Benedict to their menu (but no asparagus as the side, now they have a tomato salad instead).
