What are your feeling on the temperature check being removed ?

If Science is always changing then you can't authoritatively say, trust me, and do as I say, trust the science.
Because all you are really saying is do what I say (if science is indeed always changing).

Saying you trust the science does not mean that what's known is forever set and never changes. Science means continuing to seek out new data, new observations. That can lead to new understandings and knowledge about things. That's what science is. I have no idea what you're even arguing here.

Anyway, I'm done. I won't be responding further to this divergence from temp checks. Have a nice night :)

It's a logical fallacy and lazy discourse to say "Trust the Science".

Agree with you about how worthless handheld temp machines can be. And even if they were always accurate, it's still not an effective way detecting Covid.

CDC only changed the distance recommendation in one specific case: in schools. And only when all other preventative measures were also being taken, like everyone wearing masks. AND only between other students -- they still recommend teachers stay 6 feet away from other teachers and that teachers stay 6 feet away from students.

Many other countries use 1 meter for distancing though -- which is just over 3 feet, so it's not unreasonable.

Is that because everyone who is eligible has already been vaccinated? Or is it because not that many more people want it? More people need to be vaccinated before all restrictions will be lifted. People should be encouraged to get vaccinated.

We're on the right track, but not quite there yet. Mask requirements could easily go away in a couple months if enough vaccine progress is made.

Everyone I know has either had the shot or the disease. It might be because most of us had it in February 2020, back when it was just an ordinary "non-flu virus". It is small town and one family took a cruise that had just gotten a fresh batch of workers that had just celebrated the Chinese New Year in China. I find it fascinating what a small world it is. But, I've seen signs of similar vaccine saturation in the nearby cities.

Cut and pasted from Universal website:

We’re excited to enhance your Universal experience with the latest safety updates from local health and government officials. There are no more temperature checks upon entry. And Social Distancing between travel parties is now reduced to three feet (1 meter). Still, most of our original safety protocols remain unchanged—from wearing face coverings across our Resort to our ongoing dedication to cleanliness and sanitization.

We continue to work closely with local health officials and our own health and safety experts and reference CDC guidelines with respect to the safety of our Team Members and guests. Key measures include:
  • Limiting capacity and following social distancing guidelines throughout all attractions, restaurants and shops throughout the destination
  • Increasing our already-aggressive cleaning and disinfection procedures, and frequently cleaning all high touch surfaces
  • All team members will wear face coverings
  • All team members will participate in extensive training on our new procedures
The latter does not speak specifically to single rider lines or every row seating but it does state capacity and following social distancing guidelines throughout all attractions remain in place.

I am going by people that have been in the parks the last few days that have experienced single rider lines being open and such.
