We will be eating at Narcoossees for the first time in 2 weeks for my birthday dinner! What are all your favorites? Do your kids have any favorites from the kiddie menu as well?
Thanks so much!

Subscribing....we are eating at Narcoosee's for our first time in Sept. Would be great to know what is best on the menu.

We had dinner there for the first time at the beginning of April this year....we LOVED it!!

We started with the mussels as an appitizer...they melted in your mouth...the butter sauce they use is fantastic....this along with the fresh crusty bread they bring out is heaven.

We both had the Seafood Chowder which was rich and creamy. My fiance thought it was a little salty, but I added more salt and I thought it was perfect.

I had the Filet Minion which was easily cut with a butter knife. I like my meat rare and they did an amazing job of keeping it so....it just disolved.

Brian had the Surf and Turf...I managed to grab a piece of his lobster which was amazing as well...

The potato gratin that comes with both meals is very well seasoned and just thinking about it makes me want more!!!

We finished by sharing the Expedition Everest dessert they have right now...it was a little two bitter sweet for Brian, but I enjoyed it.

I hope you have a great time, I don't think they could produce anything out of the kitchen that wasn't good...the atmosphere is wonderful, we could easily see the fireworks from our table...the service was also great...we had Tom, if you see him, tell him we said hello! (He tried to talk us into becoming Cast Members....he's a very good salesman!!)

As for food for the kids, I wouldn't know, I don't have any little ones! :)

We ate here 15 years ago on our honeymoon and enjoyed it very much. We are returning in October for our 15th anniversary - this time with two boys. I was also wondering how Narcoosees is now and if they have a good kids menu.

The almond crusted cheescake with cherry sauce is to die for!

I had the mussels as an appetizer, they were wondeful, my husband has the filet and lobster and really enjoyed it. Great meal, nice atmosphere.

We just returned, ate at Narcoossee's while we were there. We had the crabcakes and a calimari salad(it was a special that night) both of these were very good. Crabcakes had capers in them which gave them a little different taste. We then both ordered the tuna -although it was cooked to the correct temperature, we were disappointed in our choice, it was very bland and had a dry rub on the outside that was lacking in something. I had to order extra sauce to make it taste better. Dessert was some kind of chocolate mousse in a chocolate cup(it was my birthday and this is what they brought for me) we also tried the almond cheesecake. Both were good, the cheescake reminded me a little of a Good Humor Toasted Almond Bar in taste(I love those things!). Overall it was a pretty good dining experience -although I would stay away from the tuna next time - steak would probably be a safer bet.

We are eating here again in Sept. It's been 10 yrs since we last ate there. The Seafood Chowder was my favorite when we were on our honeymoon. Then we went later in the year when I was prego and I had to have that chowder again. I hope it's still the same because I can't wait to get some.
