What are your favorite things to collect?

I used to collect things but I quit doing that several years ago after our parents passed and we had to go through everything in their house. It was ridiculous. After that both my sister and I went through our houses and got rid of so much stuff that was just collecting dust and really didn’t mean anything any more. I felt so much better and vowed I would never start collecting stuff again no matter what how much I liked it.

I collect lots of WDW souvenirs. I hope I'm done, but every trip I come back with stuff. I used to collect vintage women's magazines but I sold them off, so if we're talking proper collections and not souvenirs, nothing.

I collect Christmas ornaments. I also like to get magnets from the places I visit to put on a giant white board in my office.

I have too much stuff and am in the process of decluttering, but the Christmas ornaments go in a box for 11 months out of the year. That's how I justify the collecting. :)

too much....I'm trying to not add anymore.
I collected key rings from places we visited
Disney antenna toppers
Disney pins
recipes
Christmas ornaments

I never have considered myself to be a collector, but I definitely am accumulating and spending a lot on Department 56 Christmas stuff. I had like 3 pieces at the beginning of the season, I got a couple more for Christmas, and I found some accessories to add before Christmas.

I like collecting mugs from places I've visited. I have WAY too many Disney mugs but I have a few from countries I've been to such as the Netherlands and Japan. I drink a lot of coffee and tea so I use them almost every day.

I also collect plush toys and figurines though I haven't bought any new ones recently.

Cookbooks, Christmas ornaments, refrigerator magnets, models of cruise ships we’ve been on, and coffee mugs.

Once upon a time I was a hardcore collector of “stuff”: textiles, particularly handmade laces, sewing trims and notions, early edition books about cookery and fairy tales; bijoux and costume jewelry, 1930’s glassware and antique china. Then I sold off most of my collections and now enjoy the clean space and de cluttered mindset that comes with it.

I always get magnets, cups, pens, etc. from places we travel to.

I am a huge reader and frequently buy real books not electronic to own do not like to borrow from a library.

National Park pins and patches.

I collect National Park patches too! Do you get the National Park ink stamps in the visitor centers? Its free. I'm addicted to those!! Haha!! While traveling, I have been known to go out of our way to visit a small National Park site (I'm looking at you Johnstown flood National Memorial in Pa. and Charles Pinckney National Historic site in SC!!) just to add their stamp to my little National Park booklet!

Star Wars figures, and many other types of SW memorabilia (figures almost all stay boxed,)
Fridge magnets from wherever we travel
Disney stuff, Minnie ears, park maps (and Universal park maps)

Mugs - both coffee and tiki
I bought the entire ABC Collection mug set Disney had a few years ago, which was over 30 mugs all by itself (some had different WDW/DL variants). SO MANY MUGS.
