What are your favorite little snacks to get in the parks? Where and what exactly are they?

:bride:

My DS-12 likes to try every kind of ice cream treat. Fortunately they are easy to find throughout the parks from corner vendors.

Dole Whip in the Magic Kingdom is a must for me on every trip. I also like going to the Fountainview in Epcot for some pastries. And France in Epcot as well. I looooooove chocolate mousse, so you can bet I'll get that when I find it :)

Dole Whip float. I need my fix at least twice on every trip.

Also, the carmel apples at the MK candy store is a must!!

I know there are lots of people with me when I say, DOLE WHIPS!

They can be found at Aloah Isle in Adventureland at the Magic Kingdom. I would describe them as a pineapple frozen yogurt or soft serve ice-cream concoction. You can also get floats and other tasty treats there. If you have never had one, it is a must! YUM!

This may be a little off topic, but what are the "Beaver Tails" at Epcot that I have read about?

p.s. I am really looking forward to those Dole Whips!

LOL! We all posted that within 5 minutes of each other!

I love the fudge candy and the caramel apples they sell at the Main Street candy shop. My son loves the Itzakadoozie and Mickey Bar.

The chocolate mousse cake at the bakery in Norway, I thinks it's Norway, I'm having a mental lapse. Mickey ice cream bars are the BOMB!!!!

Beaver tails !!! - last trip I picked one up and walked across to the seating area that juts out into the lagoon and looks up the back of R&C (smoking area actually, but no one was there smoking) - enjoyed my beaver tail (yum) while I listened to Off Kilter playing just behind me - aaaahhhhh ! what a moment - watched the boats, the sun setting behind the Eiffel Tower, the awesome music, the sinful snack, my granddaughter sleeping in her stroller - does it get any better than this?!!:smooth:

shatzjsl: here's a thread about Beaver Tails that gives all the wonderful details! http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=507302&highlight="beaver+tails"

Definitely Dole Whips!

And I also like to get ice cream from the dinosaur at MGM, because I just like the idea of getting my ice cream from a dinosaur.

And then there's the highly decorated ice cream truck/bus at Anandapur in AK. It's fun to get ice cream there, too!

Oh, and I almost forgot the mini-donuts at Blizzard Beach! Can't leave those out!

Thanks bjakmom! I'll def. have to try Beaver Tails.

I always love getting a mint-chocolate chip ice cream cone (double scoop) at the ice cream parlor on main street in MK.

I always get a massive rice krispie treat with a thick layer of chocolate on top at the candy shop in Disney Market Place.

I always get a hot fudge sundae at Ghiraldies (spelled wrong) at Disney Market Place.

Can you tell that I love chocolate and ice cream:tongue:

:D

My favorite snack is the Mickey ice cream bar. I get one every time I'm in WDW. They're delicious, but they melt real fast in the hot weather, which just means I have to eat one all the more faster.:D

Dole whip for me too! :) I also enjoy getting an egg roll from the cart near the Dole whip stand. Also, the Minnie frozen fruit bars! My kids alway have to get a funnel cake and a shaved ice (Gakigori?) in Epcot.
