What are your favorite Disney Buffets? What kinds of foods do they have? Prices?

:cool1:

One of our favorites is the Clam Bake at the Cape May Cafe in the Beach Club. A wide variety of seafood and meats, as well as salads and children's offerings and desserts. I am not sure of the price. It should be on allearsnet.com.

without a doubt --- Boma. For the adventurous. Lots and Lots to choose from, Check out the menus on allears.

Can't wait... we will be there Saturday night

We did a lot of buffets this last trip. Started with Chef Mickey's $26.99a 11.99c then did Princess Breakfast at Norway $21.99a 11.99c this a skillet all you can eat meal, Hollywood and Vine $22.99a 10.99c, Crystal Palace breakfast $17.99a 11.99c, Donald's breakfast at AK$17.99a 9.99c, Cindy's gala dinner at GF $27.99a 12.99c, Liberty Tree Inn $24.99a 10.99c this is served family style with refills.
The princess breakfast was the least favorite because of slow refills of the skillet. All the others were great. We were a party of 19, 10 adults, 3 paying children and 6 children under three. We found the buffets easy with the children. The adults all found lots to eat. BTW the adults did a fabulous adult only dinner at the Yatchsman Steakhouse.

Another vote for Cape May Cafe Clambake!!! It is delicious! The clambake is from 5:30-9:30 every evening. The cost is Adults: $24.99 and Children Ages 3-9: $10.99.

We love Crystal palace - plus you get to meet Pooh etc! :flower:

Really nice food - even my picky daughter loves it!

The Cape May Cafe is a great place for dinner. If you are interested in a breakfast buffet, Chef Mickey's is really good. It is a character breakfast, and it can be tough to get an ADR there, because of its popularity.

Another vote for Crystal Palace. Great food and it's so beautiful inside :goodvibes

BOMA!! Love the dinner and the omelets at breakfast are TO DIE FOR! And it helps that its in my favorite hotel: AKL :flower:

Breakfast: Cape May Cafe Character Breakfast, Chef Mickey's
Dinner: Cape May Cafe and Boma
CP and the Castle are OK on the food, but it's the characters that make the place.

Trails' End, the food has always been good( we have been there many times in 20 yrs) and we like the more relaxed atmosphere. it truthfully is the only buffet we have ever really liked and the cheapest.

( we might give Boma a shot for dinner next time. imo their brkfst wasn't any better than te's, just a few more choices . i'm not that big an eater so those choices would never make to my plate but i would have paid for them. it's just not worth it to me)

Trails End, especially for breakfast. I don't do lots of buffets because I feel like I should be eating a lot to justify the price - but at TE, it's less expensive, a nice experience and I can load up on health stuff, along with a little of the other stuff (like a piece of French Toast) and feel like I didn't waste money.

I did Boma with a TA onsite training group last week for breakfast - as well as Cape May, and enjoyed both - but I didn't eat nearly enough to justify the cost if I was to pay separately. So it was nice having them included, and the fruit was great at both. Cape May even had asparagus for breakfast, though I never made it to that.

Chef Mickeys is fun for dinner, but too much food for one sitting.

I will say, the buffets they fed us last week (at the TA event) were outstanding - lots of steamed carrots and broccoli, wonderful greens, just really healthy. I wish there was a place like that on property! So many of the buffets pour on all kinds of sauce and such onto the veggies.
