Just curious who loves what counter service restaurants. What is underated, what had good foods, good wait times, etc.

I really loved the Mara CS in Animal Kingdom Lodge. The food was good, the service was quick, the prices were great, and the kids could color masks or watch Disney while we ate. It was in a beautiful resort and close to the pool.

Pecos Bills, we didn't love. The girls enjoyed watching the birds, but that was about the end of it. Food was lacking, wait was long (long...). It was fine, but nothing special, you know? (I should add that our experience was with a special dietary request order, and that may have effected the outcome of taste and such)

Curious about other resort and park CS eateries? We didn't try many last time, but this time we're going to try to do one a day. (instead of all TS)

We always enjoy Peco Bills - especially the fixin' bar :)

Also, enjoy the POR foodcourt when we have stayed there.

AK - Flame Tree BBQ
MGM - backlot
Epcot - Fish place outside Rose and Crown, French cafe (yummy cheese and cracker plate)
MK - Casey's corner for hot dogs and fries, the CS place near LTT.

Outside the parks we like Earl of Sandwich, Broadwalk Bakery

MK- Columbia Harbor House
MGM - Starring Rolls Bakery
EPCOT - Sunshine Seasons and Norway Bakery
AK - Tusker House
DTD - Wolfgang Puck Express

We also liked Captain Cooks at the Poly, Gasparillas at GF and Hurricane Hannans and Beach Club Marketplace at YC/BC. I liked Liberty Inn at EPCOT but I see they took the turkey sandwich that was on the bagel off the menu and that was my favorite sandwich there.

AK Tusker House was the best, so sorry to see it is changing to a character meal to replace Donald's breakfastaurus.

Hoping the new AK restaurant is really as good as Tusker House. It was under construction when we were there in March. Anyone know if it is open?

We love Flaming Tree BBQ and Tusker House in AK. My dh is totally bummed they are changing Tusker House. In MK the Columbia House is good. Enjoy

From our last trip:

AK - Flame Tree BBQ
Epcot - Mmmmm- tough one, but I'll have to go with the place in Germany
MK - Pecos Bills
MGM - Toy Story Pizza Planet (I know, I know, but my daughter really likes it there) :)

Casey's, Columbia Harbour House, Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe. Funny, they're all in Magic Kingdom. The food is good in the other parks, but none of them seem to stand out in my mind.

We like almost everything in Epcot, lots of great choices here.

In MK hot dogs from Caseys are always a hit, Peco Bills has a great chilled chicken wrap and Cosmic Rays has awesome chicken caesar salads.

Nothing is a must for us at AK or MGM.

DTD, we LOVE WPE...the food is so amazing here.

I have multiple favorites! So here we go:
Wolfgang Puck Express at DTD: When I was here, the line was long (only been here once) but the roasted chicken was fabulous!
Everything Pop: There is something for everyone here and has all the great favorites like pizza, burgers, and chicken fingers. There are so many choices! The lines can be long, but there is a TV in the dining room playing cartoons, tables outside is you wanna enjoy the fresh air, or you can go directly back to you room with your food! It also has the self serve drinks where you can get soda/pop, icees, or hot chocolate.
Pecos Bill's at MK: The cheeseburgers are amazing. They use the best cheese on them. The toppings bar is nice if you like a lot of stuff on your food. Lines are usually really long and seating can be limited, but there are seats inside and out.
Columbia Harbour House at MK: This is a family favorite. Fish, chicken fingers, and french fries (or are they freedom fries?). This place can have long lines, but there is so much seating. And if you go upstairs its quieter and you can overlook the streets of Liberty Square.
Sunshine Seasons at Epcot: Though this is not as high on my list as it was before the renovations, but... any place that serves foccicia (sp?) I love. The turkey on foccicia bread is amazing. There are a lot of choices here, and so many desserts! There is a self serve drinks area which is nice because you can get free refills.
Tangeriene Cafe at Morocco: I think this is one of the best places to get food that is a bit different but tastes so good. Never seen long lines here.
Backlot Express at DS: Even though this place doesn't have the best food in WDW, it's in a sorta hidden location which keeps the lines low. It also has a nice toppings bar.
Tusker House at AK: I've had a couple of different dishes here and have never been disappointed. Everything is YUMMMO!

When, oh when will they put a decent CS restaurant @ MGM? Everything they try seems to fall flat there.

Mmmm...these are our faves....

MK: Casey's Corner & Pinochhio's Village House (mmm....figaro fries)
EPCOT: Norway and France counter for snacks
DTD: Wolfgang Puck's (best mashed potatoes EVER!)
MGM: Bookstore by NY street (great frozen coffee)
AK: Flametree BBQ

:wizard:

A few of our favorites were Columbia Harbour House in Magic Kingdom- Nice cool seating indoors and great food, Electric Umbrella in Epcot- we loved sitting outside watching the fountains dance while eating a nice lunch in the outdoor seats, All Star Movies- their burgers and brownie sundae are yummy! and RestaurantoSaurus in Animal Kingdom

Columbia Harbour House at MK: This is a family favorite. Fish, chicken fingers, and french fries (or are they freedom fries?). This place can have long lines, but there is so much seating. And if you go upstairs its quieter and you can overlook the streets of Liberty Square.

Neat! I didn't know they had an upstairs. This is great to know for the next visit. Thanks Becky!

Flametree Barbecue- AK
Casey's Corner- MK
ABC Commissary- MGM
Stadium Hall- AS Sports
(I don't have one for Epcot, will have to try something this coming september)

MK: Pinnochio's and Cosmic Ray's
AK: Pizzafari
MGM: Backlot Express
Epcot: Sunshine Seasons

I'm really bummed to read about Tusker House. I like to get the salmon there.

At MGM I usually always eat Pizza at that little counter over by ToT. It has all outdoor seating.

At MK I always eat the fish and chips and Harbor House. If you sit by a window upstairs you can see BTMRR.

At Epcot I've enjoyed Japan and Mexico (get the kid's quesadia)

At AK it was mostly Tusker House. Guess we'll have to go back the BBQ place, which was good too but all outdoor seating.

let's see...
MK - Pecos Bill's
Epcot - Liberty Inn (apple cobbler-YUM!)
MGM - Tie between Backlot Express & Flatbread Grill
AK - Flame Tree BBQ
