We are going in June and have the dinning plan. So what are your FAV places to dine? I am disappointed that Le Cleia in Epcot is now a 2 credit dine. So I am in search of a new fav...

This is what we have...suggestions???

Ohana
1900 park fare
Chefs De France
Via Napoli
50s Prime Time
Chef Mickeys
Whispering Canyon

Unfortunately, the only restaurants at Disney that I think are worth what they charge are all 2 dining credits. which is pretty much why we stopped using the dininig plan.

If you want a great steak, I would do Shula's at the Swan.
My family hated 50's prime time so can't help you there.
We did Chefs Mickeys for a character meal breakfast. The food was mediocre at best but as others will tell you, you're there for the characters.
Via Napoli is good
Also we liked Olivias at Old key west and the Turf Club at Saratoga Springs.

Generally I favor resort restaurants over the theme park ones.

Sorry to be Debbie Downer, I grew up inside my uncles restaurant so Disney's food is pretty mediocre IMO.

Why not try posting this on the dining forum. You'll get lots of opinions there.

How about BOMA at AKL, is that on the plan. I love it. It's a buffet, lots of great choices-some exotic, some very normal. We always walk around the lodge, see some animals and shop a little in their shop which has some unique things.

Whispering Canyon Cafe at Wilderness Lodge
Liberty Tree Tavern (dinner) at Magic Kingdom
Tusker House (breakfast) at Animal Kingdom

Is this Le Cellier in Canada, or something else?

I'm sorry to say that I have found many of the one credit restaurants to be mediocre or hit-or-miss. We go twice a year and no longer bother with the dining plan. I have heard good things about 'Ohana lately and we like Boma but don't love it. The Plaza restaurant in the Magic Kingdom is good for lunch. My friend loves the Cape May clambake at the Beach Club.

Where are you staying?

We enjoy crystal palace for breakfast
50 s prime time
1900 park fare for diner
Toyko dining
Tusker house for lunch
Kona cf for breakfast
Yatchs man steak house

LOL yes...dont mind my "spelling" this morning

We're doing the DxDDP in May and I wanted to do some research on new (to us) places to eat. Check out the Restaurant Board on the Dis. Lots of reviews and ideas on there. I spent several hours the other night before making my ressies.

We love Kona cafe for breakfast.
The character dinning are OK we only do them for breakfast we really dislike them for lunch and dinner.
Chef De france is the worst restaurant we ate in Disney.
We like the California grill, Wolfgang puck express and Cafe
Those are all I can think about.

Via Napoli was really good. We recently tried it in February and were hooked. Yak and Yeti is also very good. The restaurants that you chose are great as well.

Le Cellier is only 2 credits for dinner. It is still 1 credit for lunch.

My family loves the Biergarten in Germany. It is a buffet and there is something for everyone. Yummy pretzel bread and this delicious Bavarian cheesecake were my favorites last time I was there. It is a very festive atmosphere. Oh they also have a great beer flight and a riesling wine flight.

A few years ago my company had a conference at Disney and paid for all our families to attend too. To thank them we took everyone here for a dinner. A few of them were not looking forward to it because they did not think they would like the food and they ended up loving it!

Good luck!

We love California Grill, but it is also 2 credits.
50's Prime Time is a good lunch place, IMO. We also like Ohana, but didn't get a chance to eat there last year, so not sure how the quality is now.
We didn't like Via Napoli when we tried it last year.

We don't use the dining plan, so not sure about how many credits or whether on plan, but here are some our family enjoys:

Yachtsman Steakhouse @YC
Fulton's Crab House @DTD
Kona Cafe @Poly
Rose & Crown Pub @Epcot
Via Napoli @Epcot
Rain Forest Cafe @AK
Yak & Yeti @AK
House of Blues @DTD
Le Cellier - can always do lunch

I'd love to say this and that,

but I LOVE all of them. I know they're not 5 star dining, but I don't care.

I still love them all. Not only the food, the atmosphere, the staff, the music, etc.

We have always enjoyed lunch at Liberty Tree Tavern. (not dinner) We have also done Le Cellier for lunch. For summer trips it is wonderful to sit down in the air and take a break with lunch. We also enjoy Ohana, and Chefs de France. If you like buffets Tusker House is a good choice for an in park buffet. We also really enjoy Kona Cafe.
For a bigger counter service meal, almost like sit-down we love Wolfgang Puck Express, and can usually get something good at Pepper Market (Coronado resort) although the service there can be sporadic.

I agree with the take-out fish & chips window at England in Epcot. There are some tables next to it on the water to sit & enjoy the view. If you're headed to Downtown Disney, the Earl of Sandwich is great too. Just had a great meal at Turf Club (SSR) last weekend. Can't say I've had any meal at MK that I've wanted to repeat again. All the other favorites are 2 credits, and resort-based.

At the top of our list would be the Columbia Harbour House in MK. Yep, go figure. Our absolute favorite lunch throughout WDW, with the best tuna sandwiches EVER!

We also love the 50's Prime Time Cafe. My husband would be happy if I booked every meal there.

My husband loved Fulton's (DTD), but the kids and I didn't care too much for it. We all loved Raglan Road.
