I guess I shoudve left out non Hawaiian part. Poly feels very overtly fake. I get the Tiki vibe as it is for the tiki room but to me that is not the authentic the Polynesian vibe you get in Hawaii at Aulani which is what my comment was to mean.

My pet peeve is people oblivious to how badly they’re disrupting foot traffic when within 6 feet there is space for them where they could be off to side and NOT blocking the flow. Move over to the side if you need to rest.

Don’t they notice all the merge-blockages radiating out from them taking up the center 4 feet of a 12 foot wide path?

Or block the exit path because they are waiting for the rest of their party to catch up. Newsflash - you can stand off to the side and still watch other people come out, and the reason it is taking your party so long to catch up is because they are now caught up in the blockage YOU created lol.

So many peeves lately, but to name a few:
rides constantly going down;
measly half hour early entry;
11 AM open time for World Showcase and not open for EEH; CMs who don’t make any effort to smile or interact….
Paying more for less!

Popcorn buckets only surviving a day for sale in the parks due to resellers when I have a trip the next week.

I am so sad I didnt get the pixar pal around one, especially since I worked on that attraction in 2004 back when it was the Sun Wheel (I feel old) . I was very much looking forward to it and it sold out in like a week in February with no plans to return and even the cms told me that scalpers were buying them up

My biggest pet peeve is the "penalties" for the ap passes at Disneyland. Plans change and sometimes you dont feel like going. Ive heard of people having to go when theyre sick to not get dinged and its just a pita. Youre now paying for this pass that you cant use for a month and there is no mercy like none once you hit three. Not even a hotel reservation will get you out of it and yes im currently in a penalty state

i can go on and on about the reservations but it is so cumbersome having to book them for wdw too only to have them turn into good to go days. Sometimes I do rethink getting an annual pass just because with so cal deals you dont have to worry about that ridiculousness or reservations. I also think it creates this false scarcity and demand and having to refresh over and over for a last min resy I seriously hate this about Disney. And yes I realize its three strikes your out but I genuinely forgot I even had a reservation when the penalty hit my mind was occupied with other things going on in my life.

Mine is people being loud on a ride, disturbing other guests' experience. For example, I was once in the AK Safari and a large group had the two rows behind us. They seemed to think it was a party bus, they were so loud that I couldn't hear the spiel. And they kept standing up and had to be yelled at by the driver. I felt so bad thinking there might be other guests aboard who were first timers or infrequent visitors, and who may have waited a long time to end up with such a rude group disturbing the experience.

I stick to the popcorn and ice cream. Wdw had more creative popcorn haha I had a rapunzel ice cream that was really good. I do love me some pecos bill too. I have limited experience with wdw qs, but I got a taste at blt with the contempo cafe for main courses and I didnt like that at all!

I have two. First, guest being flat out rude to CM's and the worst is when they double down and get really loud and talk to people walking by like we agree with them. Uhm no sir/ma'am be quiet and leave that poor CM alone, we all paid a lot for our trips and it is not their fault they do not have something in stock.

Second, I do feel like some of the magic has gone away. I think it is a combination of feeling like things that were once free are now pay as you go. Yes, I am looking at you lightening lane. And the explosion of social media telling every little pixie dust moment in the parks. It has gone from "wow that was nice" to "I have to have this to make my trip perfect because I saw it done for someone else on Tik Tok."

As an honorable mention I hate having to book my park days in advance as an AP.

World Showcase opens at 9:00, some stands do open later. Remy and Frozen are open early and late. Stands and stores close but that’s pretty much all parks.

In long park entrance lines, having a cast member raise their hand for someone’s ticket issue and you have to wait until someone comes to resolve it. They could have a system in place where the line can keep moving while they deal with it. Also when the further touch point is available but people wait until the first one is clear. Some cast members don’t instruct them to go around.

This 1000 percent. Happened to us on Pirates and I was sooo irritated
