What are your CS picks for AK and MK?

Myslef, Dh, Dd 3, and Ds 1, traveling at the end of Jan on DXDP.
I need suggestions on CS meals for these parks. We have b'fast and dinner TS ADR's for these days already, so would like a CS lunch for each park.

What are your suggestions based on quality, and quanity of food since we will be sharing with DS. The only place I have been to is Cosmic Rays in MK. Have never been to AK.

We liked Pizzafari in AK for the Hot Italian Style Sandwich or the pizza and salad combo.

I agree with PP on CHH in MK for the Tuna Sandwich or the Broccoli Slaw and Hummus Sandwich. My kids also used to like to eat off our taco salads when they were younger (they get their own now) at Pecos Bills or El Peryta El Perico. The toppings bar had tomatoes, cheese, olives, etc... that the loved.

At MK, we liked Pecos Bill's (burgers or taco salad - big fixings bar) and Columbia Harbour House (chicken strips or fried fish). Both were decent quality and satisfying quantity (and I'm a big eater). Cosmic Ray's isn't a bad choice either with the rib and chicken combo.

At AK, my choice is going to be Flame Tree BBQ. I haven't eaten there yet but it tends to get a lot of love on this board and I'm making it a point to have lunch there on my next trip.

My favorite at AK would definitely be Flame Tree BBQ. Having said that, I notice that your DS is 3 so if he is a picky eater, he may not like the offerings at Flame Tree. Pizzafari was pretty good and has stuff that most kids would eat.
As for MK, we liked Columbia House just because it was a nice place to sit down with plenty of seating. The food was ok, but not great. I have read that the Main Street bakery has fresh sandwiches...so I am planning on trying that for our next trip.

MK --- Cosmic Rays or Pecos Bills. (my fav. is PB, husbands is CR)

AK --- Restaurantasaurus. We love this place. It is very comparable to both CS above.
Have heard wonderful things of Pizzafari though, we will be trying there next time.

Flame Tree and Columbia Harbor House.

I don't do the dining plan, so I don't know if there are better ones to try on the plan (remember there is no appetizer allotment for deluxe dining at CS, just at TS). I know there is a huge platter of chicken and ribs at Cosmic Ray's that is supposed to be a major deal on the plan. I don't have children either, so I can't give you the most child-friendly menus.

At the Magic Kingdom I would recommend Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe and at the Animal Kingdom I would recommend Flame Tree BBQ or Pizzafari.

At AK Flaming Tree BBQ and Mk Casey's Corner. Even though they only have hotdogs, it is a must stop for my family

Something to think about is to be familar with all the choices so you can just stop where ever you are without having to trek back across a park.

Another vote for Flame Tree BBQ at AK. I love the menu choices and the BBQ is quite good. I'm a Cosmic Rays fan at MK. They have a great menu, something for everyone and out of this world entertainment.

At MK, I'd say Cosmic Rays. And at AK I'd go with Restaurantasaurus or Pizzafari. Both are good but I might lean toward Restaurantasaurus just because of their yummy little cheesecake dessert.

Flame Tree Barbecue for the great ribs, coleslaw and cornbread or Pizzafari for the panini, caeser salad or pizza if you must. Even the Rotisserie chicken at the Tusker house is delicious. Have fun.
