What are your 10 worst restaurants at WDW?

Gosh does everyone dislike Mama Melrose? I saw the menu and thought it looked good. I thought we'd try there but now I'm scared!

We go to Mama Melrose every year and have never had a bad meal, and we have always had very good service.

I've never eaten at Tony's and I consistently hear reports about how bad it is. Why can't they get their act together?! They've got an ideal location and atmosphere and my 10 year-old can make a decent pot of spaghetti! I wish they'd improve. The concept is so great!!

Actually, DH and I only know of one restaurant in the world (the whole world, not WDW) that has spaghetti we really like. Well, not the spaghetti per se, but the spaghetti sauce. So I guess people complaining about spaghetti doesn't surprise me.

Cinderella's Royal Table

The only truly bad meal (the one we couldn't eat) we've ever had at WDW.

I absolutely HATE Crystal Palace. We've tried there twice for dinner and both times the food and service was horrible.

We've eaten at many of the other restaurants on the "worst" list and have found them to be very good. Matter of opinion.

I love the food at Planet Hollywood (best bruschetta EVER), but I hate the atmosphere. It is way too loud and crowded.

Hollywood & Vine is the only restaurant I will never eat at again..we have had good meals every where else so I only have 1 lol.

I can't think of ten, but the service at Raglan Road was so bad I was actually shocked by it. The food was mediocre too.

Donalds Restaurantasausus Character Breakfast, Rainforest in AK and the Sci-Fi Cafe, other than that no complaints

I can think of two...Yak & Yeti (should be called Yuck & Yeti) and San Angel Inn (beautiful atmosphere, way too claustrophobic and lousy food.) Also didn't care for breakfast at Artist's Palette.

BTW, we LOVE Crystal Palace! To each their own, I suppose!

Now I am so upset that I have H&V booked with the Fantasmic dinning package! I love Primetime, but it wasn't part of the package and we were aiming at eliminating some wait time for my 2 year old. Clearly H&V is not popular with others on the DIS.

Okay, for dh and I, our list goes something like this:

Places we will never return to:
Big River Grille (both of us)
Akershus (both of us)
San Angel Inn (dh)
Sci-fi diner (me)

It's so funny that loads of people hate Mama Melrose. We've always loved it! Oh well... Here's my list.

1. Rainforest Cafe at AK for lunch or dinner (food was so/so but expensive and the service is ALWAYS terrible)
2. Coral Reef for dinner (food was so/so at best for the price)
3. WCC for lunch

3) 1900 Park Fair (this place should be called 1900 Park Blah) Rating:

4) Restaurant Marrakesh (so so food but good entertainment) Rating:

5) Coral Reef: Blnd food and not so good service Rating:

Alfredo's - that place was sooooo bad thank goodness they closed it - anything would be better than it was

Started talking to DH about this today. By the end of the conversation we agreed that even though this was the worst meal we've had at WDW we'll still be taking Makayla to the Castle for lunch in Feb. It's not about the Princesses-it's about the Princess!

Pecos Bill is horrible! When we were there it was filthy, condiment bar had food strewn all over, trash was overflowing, no place to sit since the table were either full of people or were so full of trash (not paper but liquids etc) it was impossible.
Toy Story Pizza-puh-lease! That is not pizza that is dough that is either undercooked or burnt with some bad sauce and cheese (I think!)
and LTT-except for lunch-dinner is horrible nothing like traveling on vacation and having Stouffers frozen dinners yum youm

Anyplace in DHS, particularly Sci Fi - this was the first place my husband (boyfriend at the time) ever ate in Disney. I warned him, but he needed to do it. He still talks about that meal, and not in a good way, lol.
