What are you watching tonight?

I watched Rango recently. Surprisingly good! Loved the character design, and the nods to Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.

Tonight it will be next episode of Loki.

I'm going to watch one of the South Park episodes. Haven't watched this show in years, but today I decided to watch it once again. Don't know why tho.

Lately Jujutsu Kaisen with my son, we are still working on Naruto & Castlevania, I am doing Ally McBeal & Gilmore Girls on my own.... love brain bubblegum when the world is stressful.

An Amazon Prime original movie about the pandemic called SongBird but even though it's got some names in it (Demi Moore, Bradley Whitford) it's a total stinker. I just dumped out of it actually and am going to watch the last episodes of Versailles Season 3 instead.
Tip: Watch Unforgotten on Prime (or live on your PBS station) or The Widow.

My favorite show. I was devastated by the season finale.
Bawled my eyes out. She went to a new series called River, I think. Watched 10 minutes and wasn't interested. Didn't like main character.

Watching "In Harm's Way" on Roku Channel (free, with ads). Underrated John Wayne war movie with Kirk Douglas, Burgess Meredith and Patricia Neal. Also some good cameos from Carroll O'Connor, Slim Pickens, George Kennedy and about 10 minutes' worth of Henry Fonda.

Atypical, a Netflix show about a family with a son on the autism spectrum. The show bridges the end of high school and the beginning of college for him. Lots of fun, quirky characters!

DH and I are really enjoying Heartland - we watch it on Netflix

With the holidays now behind us, I imagine there may be new suggestions for bingeable series or great movies we all watched during our down-time. I'll start:

We just finished Anne with an E and it was captivating; made extra-special because the literature was such an iconic and precious part of Canadiana. :lovestruc
We also enjoyed an Australian political thriller series called Total Control and I watched the Prime Original Wheel of Time, which, as a big fan of the book series, I'm on-the-fence about recommending.
