What are you thoughts on the email confirmation system

It's a step in the right direction but I don't like the fact that we don't really receive the info in the email, we receive a link to the website.

How long will they be available online?

What happens if they have a systems crash, all confirmations could be lost.

I prefer to actually receive the confirmation in the email or as a PDF that I can save or print.

I suspect the new email confirmation links will be available at least until the date of check-in. They look just like cash reservation confirmations we have received in the past, and they have been available online until at least the check-in date.

I doubt that Disney would suffer a systems crash so catastrophic that confirmations could not be recovered from backup files. Nevertheless, we always have a hardcopy of the confirmation with us when we check in, just in case the resort's computers are down.

We have received two of the new email confirmations. With just one click, I can view the reservation and then print it or store it as a PDF.

I printed the confirmation immediately having the same thoughts.

Booked a trip a few weeks ago for GCV and the CM asked if I prefered email or mail for the letter.

I asked for an email and then forgot all about it.

2 weeks later I recievied a copy in the mail and realized that I had never received my email!
