It is that time of year when most people are planning their Thanksgiving meals, lets take a moment and state what you are thankful for:
1. :worship:
2. DW who shares my love of DVC, DCL, MK, EPCOT, AK, and MGM.
3. My DD, DD who are both on their own and allow DW and me time to enjoy our DVC.
4. :surfweb: time for DisBoards
5. All the details I have picked up on these boards over the last year.

1. I'm thankful for my mom's doctor and his PA who brought her leukemia into remission
2. I'm thankful to have a job
3. I'm thankful that my kids are healthy and happy

We're thankful for the chance to have DVC.
See we won a 3 year membership and have used it to stay in our dream rooms for the last couple years.
Next week we book our final stay.

I am truly thankful for too many things to make a list. :goodvibes My hubby calls me Pollyana. ;)

I am so thankful that I have my DVC and my kids and wife enjoy it as much as I do (or love me enough to indulge me :) )
Very thankful I have the children I do and that people are accepting
Thankful that my children are healthy. All 4 of them... all 4 of them that hate to sleep alone in their beds... all 4 of them that in some way or another end up in my bed almost every night... yep - those kids...

I'm thankful for my family who lets me feed my DVC addiction and doesn't make fun. In fact I think I have a couple of them well on their way to sharing my feelings about it.

In fact I'm just thankful for my family and all the wonderful things we have shared and hopefully will share in the future.

I am incredibly thankful for my wonderful family and the blessing of good health! I am also thankful for our friends, my children's teachers, my husband's job...I guess I will second rentayenta, the list is neverending!:)

Every 5 years for the last 15 years, I've taken the family over to Disney to commemorate "my" "special" birthday. ...Each time, the party has gotten bigger and bigger.

This past May (Memorial Day,) we had the biggest one, yet. It was a BIG birthday :rolleyes1

We ended up hosting 37 people. I brought a photographer and got some wonderful pictures of family and friends.

In August, my Mom - who LOVED me to take her to Disney - was diagnosed with advanced lung cancer. ...She passed away last week.

A few weeks ago, she told me SHE was "so grateful" to have "not known" that she had the cancer in May, so that she able to enjoy the party to the fullest.

I am so grateful that we had the party. It was worth every penny spent. I am so grateful for all the opportunities we had to take my parents (and DH's parents) to Disney/Vero/HH over the years. The pictures and memories we now have are priceless to me.

We purchased DVC in 1997. At that time, we were 3-years married, and most everyone thought we were crazy to be purchasing this "Disney thing" that they didn't really understand. But now, there's just no question - it was the best thing we ever did.

I'm having a little trouble, now, thinking of going back to Disney... it will make me sad that Mom can't be with me, but I'm sure we'll get back....

I am thankful for my DH, Children and Grandchildren, our health and jobs.

I am thankful that my DH LOVES Disney and DVC as much as I do, and for the fact that he let's me share my life with him.

I am thankful for my family,
That my husband and I both have jobs,
That we can make the memories now that will carry us when we are too old to go to the happiest place on earth!

Truly blessed!

Happy Thanksgiving all!!

Well said ddoconnell! I am also most thankfull for my family! I am also thankfull that my husband and I both have jobs for a school district, so we are able to travel and spend as much time as possible making those great memories with our children (DD16 and DD 9)! You never get this time back and there aren't any do overs so make every moment count!:grouphug:

Beth, thank you for sharing your wonderful story about your mom.
I am so sorry for your loss, but so happy that you have such wonderful memories.:flower3:

There are many things that I am so grateful for. But I want to give my DIS related gratitude.

I belong to a thread (yup, the dreaded VWL Groupie thread). They are the nicest group of people you could ever hope to have a cyber relationship with! We are getting together this Dec for a meet and I am very much looking forward to finally meeting most of them (I say most because I have already met a few!).

If you get the chance to join a thread like this (heck, come on over!), do it. You won't regret it.:goodvibes

I do feel fortunate. There are a lot of good people out there without a job. I hope this economy turns around soon.
