Has anyone read The Wednesday Sisters by Meg Waite Clayton?

It was recommended by someone that is not a huge reader but said it's very good. I was wondering if any of my "reading buddies" have heard of or read it.
Cute book, quick read:thumbsup2

Getting ready to start Daddy's Little Girl by Patricia Cornwall.

I finished the first of the Sookie Stackhouse books today. Amazing the similarities between it and Twilight. I wonder which was written first?

If I'm not mistaking, Sookie was written first.

Finished reading The Crossroads Cafe by Deborah Smith. It's a free Kindle download. I enjoyed it.

I just finished the 2nd Sookie book and I think I am probably done with the series, unless I can pick up a couple books at Goodwill or yard sales. Keeping with the vampire theme, I started The Historian last night. I think this one will be a bit more to my liking.

I just bought Charlaine Harris' book Dead Until Dark, which the HBO vampire series True Blood is based on. I got the first season of True Blood for Christmas, and now want to read the book series. I wish I had read the books before watching the HBO series though.

Never fear - Season 1 of True Blood really just about covers the 1st book in the Sookie Stackhouse series. There may have been some of book 2 in there, but not much that I recall.

The series and the book really differ in many ways and I believe that the books are MUCH better! :thumbsup2

I LOVED The Historian! Wait until you read about all of the places to which the main characters travel. Very interesting!

I picked up A Touch of Dead last night at the library. I can't wait to start it today.

I've given up on Poland by James Michener. I know that it's fiction, but when you combine real characters from history with such falsities, UGH, it's driving me crazy. Why not just make up the characters instead of recreating their histories?

Picked up SIX Evanovich books on Monday. Listening to ELEVEN ON TOP right now. Nice to hear the voices that go with the characters. I like who reads for the Plum series, Lorilei King. She does a GREAT job with Morelli and Ranger!
I forgot that Janet has in between books for her series, so I had to go back and read VISIONS OF SUGARPLUMS which is supposed to be read after #8. I've read people talking about Diesel on other websites and I was like, who the heck is that??!! Now I know and he's HAWT! :worship::cloud9:

I just finished the first book and liked it enough to keep reading the series. I've never seen the HBO series and want to wait to order it on Netflix. I would rather read all the books first.

Started Daddy's Little Girl yesterday and realized that I have already read it. So started Strangers by Dean Koontz this morning.

I'm so addicted to the Sookie Stackhouse books. Never thought that would happen as I'm not normally a fan of vampire or supernatural stuff. I'm on the fifth one, and I read a chapter this morning while eating breakfast, and now I should be working but really I just want to go back and keep reading!!

I am the exact same way! I have no interest in Twilight or anything like that but I watched True Blood and immediately wanted to read the books!
The series is different enough from the books that most things are not spoiled but some are.

Has anyone read Jenna Jameson's memoir? (Not posting the name as its not DIS appropriate) I was waiting for it to come out in paperback as I have seen documentaries on her life and have always been interested and fascinated by her life. I am going in for surgery next week and needed something very fluffy to distract me from my school work so I picked this up at the store today as they were advertising it. I am curious if anyone has read it. It looks so interesting!

Also, I was checking out and the cashier saw me looking at a book on the counter called A Reliable Wife. He started a conversation with me about it and I felt like he was not trying to sell me the book but have a literary conversation with me about this newly popular book.

I am reading Skinned by Robin Wasserman. It came highly recommended.

I am reading the Dexter book series right now.. On book #3. Got the first 3 books for Christmas, and read the first two within a few days and now the third, and then I will have to buy the fourth. Already read the sookie stackhouse books, and twilight books...what to read after the dexter books?
