I'm glad you bumped this thread RUDisney! :)

I've started reading, "Plain Truth" by Jodi Piccoult. It was recommended by someone on this thread. It's hard to put down. Thank you to the person(s) that recommended it!
----------------------

I have that one here - along with several others by Jodi Piccoult.. Just haven't gotten to it yet.. :)

"queen of fashion: what marie antoinette wore to the revolution" (caroline weber)

"suze orman: the road to wealth"

I'm reading The Lace Reader by Brunonia Barry. I'm having a hard time getting into it but I think I'll end up liking it. I'll report back when I'm done!

Suspicion of Malice by Barbara Parker

Great book. Kept you guessing until the end about who did it.

I do believe this is a book out of a series. Didn't know that until I was already into it.

I'm currently reading The Law of Bound Hearts, although I can't remember the name of the author.

I'm reading the Anderson Cooper book Dispatches from the Edge: A Memoir of War, Disasters and Survivals. The poor guy sounds so depressed that I just want to hug him. Well, that and because he is hot! :lovestruc

:thumbsup2 Loved that book. See my tag!

Lie DOwn With the Devil by Linda Barnes (a Carlotta Carlyle mystery--11 or 12 in the series, and I've read all of them!).

I just started The Marriage Game by Fern Michaels. So far I'm loving it, but I'm afraid of it getting much too unrealistic. Oh, well-I'm a Fern Michaels fan anyways.

I enjoyed this book. But it does go a little unrealistic. Fluff read I guess you could say.
And there is another one that goes along with it.

Can't remember the darn name off the top of my head. :headache:

I just finished "The Memory Keepers Daughter" It was really great but so heartbreaking. I was surprised at how bad I felt for the main character.

Now I'm reading "The Mermaid Chair"

hmmm I seem to be on a roll with books about doomed relationships.

I read the first 10 pages of For a Few Demons More. Blech. I'm going to the library to pick up some books that are in from my wish list.

RUDisney - I just wanted to say that I've set The Historian aside for now. I haven't totally given up on it, but I just could not get in to it, even after reading about 1/2 the book.

I probably shouldn't get in to a heavy book at the beginning of the dance year. I read before bed & my mind was wandering with thoughts of what had happened, should happen or was going to happen at my studio. I need to read some light, fluff books at this time of year.

This is definitely not the book to read when your mind is racing in other directions. I enjoyed it, but I could focus on what I was reading without my mind being off in other places.

Just finished Twilight. SO GOOD.

Now all I need to do is find a bookstore in Florence that sells english books to buy New Moon/the rest of the series. :)

I got Stephenie Meyer's four vampire books (Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, Breaking Dawn) for my birthday, and had them read in less than a week... I read a lot, but these boooks were by far the best books I have read in a very long time (and I usually like everything I read). I've already started rereading them, I just can't get enough.

But aside from them, I'm reading The Judas Strain by James Rollins. I love me a good adventure book

I'm about half way through 'Until I Find You' by John Irving. It's not quite as good as 'The World According To Garp', but it's still a fantastic read.
