What Are You Reading Right Now?

Right now, I'm reading "The Blue Zone" by Andrew Gross. I'm really liking it, although it's not really my "thing." I like the way it's written. Very suspenseful!

Next up is "Left to Tell". Not sure how I'm going to like it. It's about the holocaust in Rwanda. Nothing like some light holiday reading, eh?

My boyfriend read Left to Tell and said it was very good.

I'm reading Sense and Sensibility and Seamonsters. I read Pride and Prejudice and Zombies a little while ago and enjoyed it. This is pretty good, but probably not as good as the zombies adaption. Still clever and funny, a new way to enjoy Jane Austen's works.

Right now I'm reading Mum's the Word by Kate Collins. It's what someone described yesterday as a "fru-fru mystery", a murder mystery that's sort of light and funny, no blood and gore. It's commonly called a "cozy mystery", and I admit I really enjoy them. Joanne Fluke, Dianne Mott Davidson, Denise Swanson, Mary Daheim, Laura Childs, Sammi Carter-they're all that style too. Anyone esle read those?

I loved that book! Have you tried Lisey's Story? Fab!!!

Not yet but it is on my list. :thumbsup2 I go through phases of reading different styles but my 2 never fail fallback authors are Stephen King and Dean Koontz. They are both amazing storytellers. :)

I am reading Inside The Dog (forgot the author's name). It's a new non-fiction book written by an animal behavioral expert and it's about her "take" on dogs and how they think, see, smell, and function with humans.

"Light on Snow" by Anita Shreve.

It has been a really great read & only 20 pages left. I can't wait to see how she ends this book.

Just finished FULL TILT by Janet Evanovich. I'm now reading FULL SPEED! I LOVE Max Holt...he is absolutely sexy and hot!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My boyfriend read Left to Tell and said it was very good.

I'm glad to hear this! I had to put off reading it for a while, as I have to re-read "The Hunger Games" for book club. I'll get to it, though.

I've read all of Joanne Fluke's books, and I love them all! They're perfect for when I'm in the mood for something light and fun.

LOVED this book! stayed up way too late Friday evening reading this, I just couldn't put it down.

I think The Help is the best book I read this year, and I've read a lot of GOOD books: The Girl wiht the Dragon Tatoo, Mudbound to name a few.

Starting "The Help" today.

B&N box arrived yesterday packed with goodies:love:

Just downloaded a whole bunch of Tom Clancy for my Kindle and I'm reading Rainbow Six.

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and The Girl who Played with Fire are also on my top 10 list this year...off to look up Mudbound and get it reserved from the library! sounds like we have similar taste in books :)

Just started I, Alex Cross. James Patterson's newest. Only $9 new on Amazon.

I'm currently reading Ted Kennedy's memoirs, "True Compass." A good read, even for those who didn't particularly care for Senator Kennedy. The background on the Kennedy family is very interesting.
I have "Open" on deck, the autobiography by Andre Agassi.

I don't know what it is...the books by Evanovich are really good, or I'm just a super fast reader. I finished FULL SPEED today and now I'm reading FULL HOUSE. In this book her lead from the last two I was reading is only 16 years old! WOW! He's 36 in the others. How COOL to see him as a troubled youth, bored because he's just so intelligent BEYOND reason.

Leven Thumps and the Gateway to Foo
It was a gift from my best friend. She must know me better than I thought. This is exactly the kind of book I like reading.:goodvibes
