Its so great to actually see someone my age think like I do. Most people I encounter my age are for Obama andgay marriage and abortion. I always feel like such an outcase

Oh gosh I know. My cousins are all pro-Obama/abortion/LGBT and I have to hear about it all the time. All of my friends are either in college or out of college already, so I don't have to deal with all that. And most people tell me that I am really mature so I guess that has something to do with it. Not to say that people who are pro-Obama/abortion/LGBT are immature, but...I think you get my point, or at least I hope you do.

- When people say gay rights, we don't necessarily mean gay marriage. Did you know someone who's gay, their partner isn't allowed to visit them in the hospital?
- You can't say President Obama is a bad president. He's been in office for a little over a month. Just because you don't like him doesn't mean he's a bad president.
- Marijuana can be beneficial for medicinal purposes. Banning it all together would not be a wise move.

Gay rights. I don't really care about about the word marriage, call it civil unions. I think that is what a lot of people are angry about...marriage being used for gay unions and they claim it's a religious term.

I'm against abortions. I've gone back and forth on this issue but I've decided I only support it in cases of rape, incest, and when mother's life is in danger. I think it is often used as back up birth control. If you have sex you deal with the consequences. Have the morning after pill on hand in case something happens.

People aren't going to stop using drugs just because they're illegal. Obviously, since they're illegal and a ton of the population is high all the time.

This is somewhat controversial, because many people's views of "pregnant" are different.
The morning after pill does simply prevent the sperm from meeting the egg in the fallopian tube in some cases, but it also prevents the implanted egg from attaching to the uterine wall in others.
Many people believe that a woman is pregnant at the moment of conception, and is then carrying human life.
Meaning it's a form of abortion in many people's eyes.
I'm not sure on my own personal opinion on it yet.
