It seem that I have read to many negative threads lately. So what are you looking forward to most on your next trip to the world? What was your favorite memory of your last one. I need to feel like the glass is half full again instead of empty.
In need of some more pixie dust for our trip late April. pixiedust:

My favorite memory from our last trip was this beautiful older lady. She was dressed to the nines with a fabulous overcoat that perfectly matched her shoes. She was so lovely! And she was so happy to be at the World! We went to City Hall to get a birthday pin, and she was there to get her First Time pin! I whispered to my girls that it was this young lady's first time, and my oldest took out her pin book, grabbed a cute piglet pin and presented it to the lady and said "I hope your day is magical" :goodvibes I was so proud of her! :goodvibes

The lady was so happy that she called her family over and they videotaped and took pictures of my daughter. It was a very good start of the day! :goodvibes

I haven't been there since Nov. 2001, but i am going again this Nov. I am so excited that all 3 of my children will be able to ride all the rides (if they choose to) Splash Mountain, Rockin Roller Coaster, Tower of Terror, ect. Before i had a 3 & 5 year old that couldn't go on them.. now they are looking forward to it, since they will be 10 & 12. But mainly, just being in a place i find magical and with the family. :wizard:

Wow, going in April! Sooo lucky! I know you'll have an absolute magical time. My last trip to the World in February was one of the most magical ones I've ever had. I got to stay at the Poly for the first time which was simply an amazing experience! What I look forward to doing on my next trip is MNSSHP. I went to my first MNSSHP last year and loved it so I can't wait to go back.
I hope this thread remains positive!

I am looking forward to my husband doing the Richard Petty Driving Experience for his 30th birthday. And also my daughter eating lunch with Winnie the Pooh at the Crystal Palace!

It was the last day of our 12 day disney trip and we just had breakfast at CRT.....we came out of the restaurant to walk to it's a small world. the park was pretty crowded and lines were long. my daughter was dressed like this

and a castmember came up to us and said "hi cinderella...would you like to come ride dumbo?" we told her the lines were too long and that we were goign to go on its a small world. she told us to stop by the red entrance after at dumbo and see her and she will get us on. well we went and we didn't have to wait at all. it was our own private fast pass. the wait time for dumbo was 50 minutes...it was a pretty magical thing to happen on our last day.:)

spending the entire week with my family at WDW. This is the first time that my Mother, two brothers and their familes, and myself and my partner all going together. I lived in New Orleans and Katrina relocated me to Austin, TX and we don't get to see much of each other; therefore, this trip will be special for all ten of us.

I am so looking forward to celebrating my eldest daughter's 5th birthday at WDW this December. I am fighting my urges to plan out my days (I am the queen of spreadsheets) because I want to wing it and "take time to smell the roses", so to speak. We have been there before we will be back many times, God willing, so I really want to take on the world anti-commando style.

As for a favorite memory from our last trip--there were plenty of things that weren't perfect, but I choose not to dwell on them. What I cherish is that my MIL enjoyed every minute of her first trip to the world (her first real vacation anywhere in her 60+ years). That made it all worth it to me.

I am so excited that I can't stand it! This will be the first trip for DH & kids! We will be winging it too! The only ADR is at Chef Mickey's, the kids have no clue! :yay: Should be a blast!!!

OKW-JUN 6-JUN13 Family Reunion

My children and I are old pro's at Disney but at this family reunion it will be the 1st time for my 4 year old nephew. I think experiencing Disney with small children brings back memories of my own childhood and the many wonderful times I experienced with my own parents at Disney. I only wish they could have had the opportunity to enjoy DVC Like we do.

My favorite moment from my last trip was MNSSHP and a cast member from the Haunted House who took some great pictures with me.

I'm looking forward to this September when my sister and I go again for our week at WDW and we will attend MNSSHP. We will dress up (I'm thinking of being a deviled egg:rotfl: ) and just have a blast, just my sister and I - those times are very magical! I will also look forward to our stay at the Boardwalk Villas!

I dont have a trip officially planned, but I am trying to go in Dec to DL and DCA - disney is the one place where I can forget my illness and forget my disability and just be a princess :princess:

I get so sad when I see people being so negative about disney world - its the happiest place on earth people! some people just need to lighten up!

We had such a good time finding characters all over the place - I knew where to look for most of them. But one of my favorite things was finding Mary Poppins by accident! We came out of Akershus after breakfast and there she was, just hanging out on the sidewalk talking to people. There was no official "line", she was just visiting. *I* got so excited - my girls still talk about how excited Mommy was to see Mary Poppins. We quickly formed a line for pictures - I got mine taken too - and she said we were practically perfect.

I am looking forward to the next trip - to doing some of the things we didn't get to do.

You are right, too much negativity lately!!! I am looking forward to my DD's first stay at the Polynesian! DH and I stayed there 10 years ago for my 30th birthday. I am also looking forward to using the DDP for the first time. We are so excited to be able to say, WE ARE GOING TO DISNEY WORLD NEXT MONTH!!!!!!!!!

My fav. memory from our trip in August was getting to take my mom and nephew to WDW for the first time. Getting to see thier reactions to all the magic Disney has to offer.
I am most looking forward to our first cruise on Disney Wonder for our next trip in October !

We are going in April too. We are so excited.:dance3: Here's some pixiedust: for you as well. My favorite memory was a simple one but a really big one for me as I can't swim. We stayed at the YC in June 2007 and my DH and DS tried for 3 days to persuade me to go down the slide at SAB. I finally worked up the courage and on the 4th day decided that I would do it. I was so scared when we climbed to the top that I almost chickened out but I didn't. After a while they told me that they weren't going to go with me anymore because I kept going down the slide over and over again. :lmao: I had a lot fun. Simple but that's my favorite memory from our last trip. Now in April they want me to go on Big Thunder Mountain.:scared1: I am looking forward to celebrating my 21st Anniversary at the world with DH and DS. Any place with the two men in my life is a special place for me.

My previous trip was my very first trip and the most fun I had (don't laugh) was meeting Remy (stop laughing!). The next-to-most fun thing was definately Party for the Senses, and I can't wait until November 1st when I plan to go again this year! :cheer2:

Me and my boyfriend (Jon) went for the first time together this past September. On our first full day at the parks, we got up early and headed to (then) MGM. We were there pretty early, so we just sat on a bench until about 20-25minutes before the park opened, then we got in line. We were only in line for about 5 minutes before a jolly, older CM named Tim came up to us and started talking to us about our vacation, what we planned on doing once we got into the park, which ride we were going to first. Rock'n Roller Coaster was closed, so obviously we were headed to the Tower of Terror.

Well, we kept talking for a bit and then Tim asked us if we'd like to help open the park! Of course we said yes! So we put our tickets through the turnstiles and whatnot and went inside the park. Then Tim walked us to where the rope was and sat us on a bench. He gave us each an "Honorary Citizen of Walt Disney World" pin and told us what our roles were going to be in the opening "show" and that once it was over, we were going to be driven down Sunset Blvd. to the Tower of Terror, to ride before the rest of the park got there!

It was amazing! We said our lines in the skit, and then the lady driving (what Tim told us was once one of Walt Disney's personal cars) took us to the entrance to ToT, where Tim was waiting for us, recording us on our video camera that he got from us before the show. Then Tim walked us through the queue and saw us onto the ride.

Once the ride was over and the doors opened, Tim was there waiting on us again! He walked us down the exit hallway so that we could see our ride photo. Me and Jon just started talking about how we HAD to get this souvenir when Tim told us that we didn't have to! He was going to give us either two 5x7s or one 8x10 for FREE!!

Once we got our picture (an 8x10), Tim walked us out of the gift shop and told us that he was going to hold onto the picture for the day, and that we would be able to go to Guest Relations on our way out of the park to pick it up.

When we went to pick up our picture, it was inside a Year of a Million dreams envelope, with two magical moment certificates and a personal note, written by Tim, wishing us a magical vacation!

It was such an amazing day. :flower3:
