We are having turkey and gammon this year at DD's request. All the trimmings and then M&S Christmas pudding (at my Grandma's request;))

I might do som kind of starter this year too, but not quite sure what yet.

What is everyone else having for their christmas dinner this year?

Starter: Onion and Mustard Soup with Crisp Pancetta... Making a trial batch soon!

Main: Pan Roasted Duck Breast, Cumberland Sauce, Roast Potatoes, Spiced Red Cabbage, stuffed onions, and possibly some buttered sugar snaps.

Dessert: Probably Chocolate Mousse of some description.... Not too sure yet!

Then about three hours later christmas pudding (laced with lots of alcohol) with a choice of cointreau cream, brandy cream, clotted cream, double cream

I love Christmas lunch!!

Start- Prawn Cocktail
Main- Turkey with all the trimmings
Dessert- Not sure yet as I don't like Christmas pudding.

I'm more looking to Boxing day when my Mum has said she will cook Sausage pan...yummmmy.

Turkey and all the trimmings for us too, you can't beat it. We probably won't have a starter, and we may have jelly & ice-cream for dessert as everyone in my house (except me) doesn't like mince pies, Christmas pudding or Christmas cake :santa:

:sad2::sad2::sad2: OMG! What is a chrimbo bimbo to do! Shocking! Are you sure they're your family?

We have smoked salmon on bilinis with creme fraiche/horseradish dressing. A little bit of bubbly goes nice with this;)

Turkey with all the traditional trimmings, all home made. It has to be king edwards spuds. We like a light red wine with our Christmas dinner as most of us (apart from DH) like the dark meat with it's stronger flavour:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

After the washing up we have Christmas pudding and mince pies with cream and custard  for DH. We usually have a pavlova for the girls as they're not keen on pud and pies.

Yum! I'm looking forward to it already.

Don't yet as going round to my brother's and his family. Will be lovely as he has 2 small daughters who are right in to Christmas so wil have fun playing with them.:goodvibes

Start- Prawn Cocktail or Melon
Main- Turkey with all the trimmings
Dessert- Christmas pudding with cream or custard
Coffee and choccies to follow

My brother cooks it all as he used to be a chef.... I annoy him every year by buying stuff ready prepared :rotfl:

Some fab sounding menus.

Starter - Prawn Cocktail
Main - Turkey with stuffing, Roast and mashed tatties, brussels, carrots & neep (turnip) mashed, parsnips, pigs in blankets and lots of gravy
Sweet - Trifle and Christmas Pudding

We used to have Scotch Broth for starter but was too heavy as everyone used to have too many rolls or bread with the soup.

Of course all washed down with lots of different booze but I do like rose wine with my main meal.

Having a BBQ on the pool deck in Florida  full xmas dinner with all the trimings when we get home in the 27th Dec

Well I'll be having macaroni :rotfl2::rotfl2:.

Everyone else will be having

Scotch broth
Turkey and all the trimmings
Cherry trifle or Choc fudge cake

I will be cooking the following on Christmas day:

Starter for dh: Salmon & Prawn parcels & me: Prawn Cocktail

Main: Roast Pork with crispy crackling (neither of us like turkey), Roast Potatoes (cooked in goose fat), Pigs in blankets, Stuffing, Carrots, Broccoli, Brussel Sprouts, home made Yorkie Puds & gravy! I will be having a nice bottle of Pinot Grigio with my meal. ;)

Phew, some fantastic sounding feasts for Christmas Dinner!

We don't have a starter at ours, just a main meal. It's usually an option of turkey crown, lamb or pork alongside all the usual trimmings. I can't wait for my sausages in blankets :goodvibes

We then have an option of chocolate gateaux or trifle, all depends what we fancy! :)
