I have no idea what i'm getting for DH. We always do a little something.

I am going to the doctor on the 13th to find out if we are having a boy or a girl!!

i'm hoping for a girl (but of course another boy will be fine) so THINK PINK for me everyone!!!

I told my SO that all I want is for him to plan and cook a meal. I don't want him to go buy anything, just use what's in the house so that we can save up for our cruise in September!!!!

He asked what I was then going to do for him and I told him I would take him out to his favorite restaurant the next friday!!! (2 days w/o cooking for me!!!)

I really wanted to get Dbf a huge Hershey's Valentines gift basket, but I can't get one shipped to the UK, so I'm making him up a hamper full of American sweets (complete with his favourite TAB cola).

TBH, I'm not expecting much, if anything in return.

If he does forget, though, it's a little more leverage for my next WDW trip (my birthday presents didn't arrive on time either)!

I think DH will be getting an MP3 player - probably and iPod since I have one and he bought several accessories for mine for Christmas. I need to talk to him about a budget, though. The iPod may have to be saved until his birthday in April.

One of us will cook a nice meal. Nothing else other than that (well maybe I'll buy something at VS) because we have wood floors and a cruise to pay for.

I'm making my dh a playlist of songs, all dedicated to him from me! That and a picture of me and the kids for his locker at work.

We will be having a nice quiet dinner AFTER the kids go to bed from somewhere as takeout with an expensive bottle of wine and then we will be deciding what luggage we need and how many pairs of shorts to take to Mexico 11 days later. :bounce: :cool1:

ETA: I hate Valentines day so he gets off really easy in February! I like the idea of it but I hate how commercialized it's become so we just do a takeout every valentines and that's it

My boyfriend and I are only getting each other small gifts since we're saving all we can for our Disney trip, which is the first week of March. :) Besides, he has class until 7 on V-day and I have work until 9...he'll prolly just bring me Subway at work and we'll spend a little bit of time together there. I don't care much for Valentine's Day, so I try not to make a big deal out of it.

going to Disney. I got a great fare on Southwest $95 roundtrip from Chicago - so I asked husband if he would like to go. He said sure!

No actual gifts this year - I will get him a mushy card.

Probably nothing but a card, maybe a peanut-butter Twix if I can find one. :teeth: That's his favorite candy bar but they don't sell them too many places here...

Seriously, we don't do much for Valentine's. We'll probably go out to dinner and exchange cards (and candy bars! ;) )

Our anniversary is the 16th, so we'll celebrate them both on one day. Taking our boys (7 and 4) out to dinner and the movies. Romantic, huh? ;)

May get him a new wedding band since he lost his! Ugh! Men! :)

Rose bushes. DH loves yard work and rose bushes. We dug up the ugly bushes that were in front of our house and we are replacing them w/ rose bushes.

Me--I have finally convinced him to buy me carnations instead of roses (much, much cheaper).

DH and I since the start have never made a big deal of Valentines day. So what is we do is each get 2 cards, one funny and one kinda serious.

And maybe we go out to eat...we have been known to order in also.

BUT this year we have FREE TICKETS to the Bulls game! We are going to watch basketball. ITS FREE. I am all about FREE! only problem, unless it college I don't care for basketball. But the seats will be good and I love sporting events

Probably not much...I am not a huge Valentine's Day fan....DH's birthday is two days later so we will more than likely go out to dinner on the 17th to celebrate both the birthday and Valentine's Day :)
