What are you getting your DH for Christmas? Need Ideas!

Hubby thinks he is getting shoes he got in a recent sale but I have some Tiffany cuff-links for him that will be a big surprise.
He uses cuff links every day so they will add to the collection.

We are not really getting each other anything. We both want the Olympus waterproof, shockproof, shatterproof... camera so we picked that out.
I have filled his stocking w/ lots of goodies, will pick him up new Star Trek movie, and maybe a new hoodie. The kids might get him a pancake griddle as he always makes them pancakes when he is home on the wknd.

I got mine:

Stephen King's - The Dome
Magazine Subscription to American Football Monthly (coaching magazine)
Bluetooth - Old one broke and he is risking getting ANOTHER ticket
Gift Certificate for a 90 minute massage
Sweats

Still need to buy a few things so I am getting great ideas from this Thread!

Since DH is always cold, DS got him an electric blanket which is the perfect gift! :santa:

La-Z-Boy recliner. We needed one for him anyway since ours is reclining people whether they want it or not. I bought it a month ago when it was on sale and they held it for me. I finally picked it up yesterday in time for our Christmas party.

Vince Flynn book
"Get Smart" two DVD set

DH is difficult to buy for ;) and doesn't need anything so I'm putting together a date package - movie gift cards, restaurant gift card and putting it all in a popcorn container from the Target dollar spot. He'll enjoy that more than a gift and I'll share it with him :) We decided on a $50 limit but I might go over since it's kinda for both of us.

Please keep the ideas coming! I'm still stumped about what to get my DH. He's the kindof guy whp won't wait until x-mas, so he buys it as he wants it :headache: So far all I have purchased is a new bathrobe and small grooming kit for his stocking. I'm thinking about the new Harry Potter movie and a video game or two.

I got DH:

a tent
a sleeping bag (well, it's from DD)
an electric sander
some sort of other electric tool that cuts things (Sorry, I can't remember and I already wrapped, maybe a reciprocating saw?)
a GPS
Beatles Rock Band for wii

Great thread!

I've got a few ideas for DF but still need more :thumbsup2

I think there will be a North Face coat under our tree this year so I've got to come up with a cool idea for him :lovestruc

DH loves football too. I ordered a bunch of stuff from mysportsshop.com ... shirts, mug, beer mug, ornament, etc. It all arrived very quickly even to Canada.

How quickly did you get your items? I am looking through the site now and they have a lot of nice college football items that fiance would love. I wonder if I ordered tomorrow would I have it for Thursday?

I got DH an engraved set of stemless wineglasses, a very nice bottle opener (one that pulls the cork out for you) and two engraved bottle stoppers. :)

We don't buy a lot for each other - our treat is just being together for two days this year since he got a job out of town and only gets home occasionally.

I got him Assassins Creed 2, Star Trek movie on Blu-Ray, a new leather jacket (got that during Black Friday sales - it was regularly $250 and I bought it for $39 ! ) and Dragon Age : Origins for the XBox 360.

I love the other ideas I have been reading in these posts!

Got my DH a new pair of customized Oakleys sunglasses.. a few nice sweaters, a dvd of The Hangover and some Captain Morgan glasses..

for his stocking he got a few more dvds- Animal House and Click.. a little tin with Wrigleys gum in it.. some new earphones for his ipod, some covers for the ipod.. cant remember what else..

So far..

birthday 12/23- made a mickey 2 1/2 yard fleece blanket and got the Hidden Mickey book

Christmas- a rice steamer and nice pair of ski gloves

That's it. I can't decide if I should get something else or not. He called while I was shopping yesterday and told me that the engine may be pretty much done in our car so we're trying not to spend any unnecessary money.

Oh yeah, I always buy Christmas hershey kisses for his stocking and then we end up not doing stockings so I just put them out in a bowl.

DH is very difficult to buy and I have such a hard time coming up with ideas. This year his big gift is one of these Logitech all-in-one advanced programming remote controls. We have way too many electronics and too many controllers that drive him nuts. He'd better like it! I got it for a bargain at only $119

More insulation for the basement. How is that for a romantic present? Hey, I will help put it up. :rotfl:

Fiance came in the other day (I was sick with an upper respiratory infection and ear infection) but anyways I was useless lol. He came in and said he did his christmas shopping for himself and got a new phone, a jacket, and a shirt. I also got him the Batman bluray anthology.

He is also getting 2 packages of socks....he told me last night that if he was a millionaire his fetish would be socks, he would open up a new package everyday lol. He said there is nothing like a new pair of socks, what a weirdo, but hey whatever makes him happy. :rotfl:
