At Disney and At Home as well....

We like to go to LATE movies and dinner past 9 pm....That usually works well for us.

What is a drag is that we have one couple that we hang with that have a 2 1/2 yr old and they NEVER get a sitter so if we want to see them, we have to go to their house...It's not so bad but I miss the 2 hours dinners with wine and good conversation we used to have...but at least their son is very cute and very well behaved.

Any other recommendations...?

Anyone can join in...

At Disney, our favs parks are Epcot and MK. We do like dining and drinking around the world (within reason).

However, we rent a car and explore other parks and out-of-the-way places. We've traveled all around the FL coast (on different trips) doing nature trips, we stayed at a cabin at Myakka State Park. I did love the Audubon Bird Sanctuary in Maitland which was quiet and peaceful.

I live in the Northeast, 1-2 hr drive will take us to a neighboring state. We enjoy antiquing and visit the biggest antique fair in the NE - Brimfield. Which is held 3x a year. It's like visiting an outdoor museum. http://www.brimfield.com/

Hi All,

My DH and I enjoy exploring resorts we have never been too, or have spent limited time at. On our last trip, we made a dinner reservation at Boma, then arrived about two hours early to explore and enjoy the resort. We had lots of fun talking to cast members from Africa as well as watching the animals roam the savannahs. Now I'm jonesing to stay at the AKL.

Next trip we hope to check out the Poly or FW. It's a relaxing way to spend some time away from the parks. :cloud9:

Later Kids,

Marcia

We go to Disney probably 4 -6times a year. We cant get enough. We try to find something new to do every trip at Disney. Some of our old time favourites are the cheaper options. Resort hoping is great option and exploring what they have to offer from activities to foods. Take a break from the norm try your hand at Disney's miniature golf or hit a water park. We love extra magic hours its like you have the park to yourself (riding the jungle cruise at night :))

I went to Disney World right after new years, and the Magic Kindgom still had one night where it was open until 2am. Let me just say that it was the best MK trip ever. There were not a lot of people, and all there were adults. There was not a line for anything, and all of the big attractions were open. It was amazing.

One thing that I've read about though is the walking tours at each park. I think you have to be at least 16 to go on some of them, so that might be a good adults only option. I've never been on one, but it is on my list for the next time that I go to Disney.

WE enjoy going to the late sitting of Hoop De doo...Its mostly adults and its all you can drink ;)

BF & I are going on our first trip to WDW together (he's never been I've been 30+ times haha) and we plan on doing a lot of dining, sampling wines and beers from around the world, checking out PI and just relaxing.

At home we check out a lot of wine stuff, play board games, movies, dine out, check out local downtown areas and day trips etc. He's a big soccer fan so we catch games whenever possible.

I am planning my first trip on April, so I just planned to take a complete view of WDW.

At home I like late night movies, dinner, I like water games, long late night drive on my bike.

We're looking forward to good food, wine (and other drinks!), and a spa day. We'll also be heading over to the water parks (which isn't adult only, but different I suppose) and exploring some of the other resorts as others have suggested.

Here, the roommate and I go out to bars, hang out with wine-o friends and do a lot of outdoorsy things.

We both dislike children (especially the out of control kind) but love WDW enough to enjoy our trips with them. That sounds heartless huh? I'm sure you guys understand what I'm trying to say though.

At home, with friends: Getting together for dinner and music (DH and a good friend of his are musicians, so they jam while DH's friend's girlfriend and I talk).

Kayaking! We just got some friends to kayak with us--it was the first time for one of them...we all had a blast!

Walks in some of the state parks in our area (of course this means I'll have to post one of my alligator photos again ;) ).

Going out to see live music together at a club.

At Disney: DH and I spend 90% of our time at Epcot. There are SO many grown-up things to do at Epcot (and Disney in general). Some of our favorites:

Adult beverages to-go from the Rose and Crown pub or the kiosk at France, then racing back and forth to see The British Invasion, Off Kilter, and Mo' Rockin'.

AND we recently discovered that the Rose and Crown is a great place to hang out when it rains. :hippie:

Jellyrolls.

Adventurers Club.

Shopping (DH hates to shop but tolerates it fairly well at Epcot :rotfl: ).

Favorites @ WDW -- coffee & danish every morning on the balcony of the room w/my DH (we never get to a park before 10am)
I love Animal Kingdom & never miss the Flights of Wonder show.
Of course Pirates & Splash Mountain.

At home - we are season tix holders for the Hartford Wolf*Pack (minor leauge hockey) and package ticket holders for the New Britian Rock Cats (minor leauge baseball). Plus we get to the occassional Bruins, Rangers, Celtics, Red Sox games. :cheer2:

And we love to travel - big trips (just got back from a week in Cancun, Mexico) and small ones (3 days coming up in July in Bar Harbor, Maine).

The rest of the time we work so we can afford it all
:rotfl2:
