It was a beautiful sunny spring like day here and we've had a fun time with family. DDIL and our sweet grands came up from NC (DS is deployed) to spend the week-end . DGS (almost 4yo) will spend the week with us and we'll take him home next week-end. His first time away from Mommy and we're crossing our fingers he won't get home sick. We'll have fun entertaining him, bless his heart he's already bathed and sleeping soundly.

Don't you just love having grandchildren overnight!: I'm telling you, I could stand by my grandson's crib and just watch him sleep.

Back to the OP's question - Yesterday, we went to the Phoenix Zoo with our daughter and grandson. We got home late, so they spent the night here instead of driving the additional hour it would take for them to get to their house. So, this morning they joined us for breakfast, then headed home.

I worked around the house this morning and ran to Walmart for a few things, then my husband and I ate lunch. This afternoon we went with our younger daughter and her boyfriend to the movies to see Shutter Island. This evening was spent reading the Sunday paper and Dissing.
