What are you doing this weekend?

Looks like great weather for southwestern Ontario for this last long weekend of summer. We'll be doing home renovations. Our kitchen is torn apart right now as we are installing new cupboards, and I have been painting the living room and halls. One thing definitely leads to another when doing home renos. LOL!

Actually now that they have settled the baseball strike we are going to see the Jays tonight and tomorrow afternoon. Hopefully they will be good games. Then I think the biggest challenge is turning my son's clock back to normal for school Tuesday morning. He's a typical teenager up late (or early depending on how you look at it) and sleeping most of the day. This could be interesting.

Hmmm....not a heck of a lot I'm afraid. DH is working nights tonight and tomorrow and then Sunday and holiday Monday we will be helping move my best friend.

This is my ABSOLUTELY fav time of year! I love the weather cooling down but still sunny and warm!

We have been to Wonderland 3 times this week! (Sat for the DISmeet, Wed night just Emily and me ~ we rode up front on TOP GUN! ~ and today with both kids in the kiddie area). DH is cycling on Sunday, I was thinking of bringing the kids back to Wonderland for a last trip to the water park ~ still not sure about that one.

I am just itching to get out and PICK SOME APPLES! So I can see me visiting a farm this weekend too!

One of my favourite things to do is make pastry for apple pie the night before I pick the apples. Then go apple picking! I like those sunny cool days where I can open the back door and have the oven on! The smells of fresh baked apple pies is soooooooooooooo good! I usually make WAY more than we can eat ~ hhhhuuuuummmmm and a DISmeet is coming up in September. huuuuuuuuuummmmmmm.

I'll be right over, Sandra, I LOVE apple pie!!!!

We don't have any plans this weekend as dh is playing in his golf club's 3 day Club Championship. Don't know if the kids and I will go anywhere, they usually have their own agenda these days. However, tonight dh and I went to Cambridge to meet some friends for dinner at a golf club there and dh is taking Tuesday off because we have tickets for Aerosmith at the Molson Amphitheatre at 7pm and plan to spend the day in Toronto and Ontario Place (since it's included in the concert ticket).

I've been working at regrouting the wall tile in the bathtub area and all I have to do now is recaulk the corners, so I've got that to finish off.

I'm off to Boston this morning, then down to Plymouth for the Dis Meet at Webmaster Alex's house. This is a big adventure for me, and I'm very excited about it!

WOW! Julie and Kim ~ you have great plans! It's such a lovely morning! DD and I are the only ones up and ready to roll! DH and DS are snoozing! We are heading to a farm this morning, DH is biking Sunday and we want to head to the water park at PCW Monday.

Oh Kim, I love the Boston area! In fact if dh didn't have this darn golf tournament to play in (which he usually falls apart at), I'd be suggesting that we go to Cape Ann which is just north of Boston. There's a favourite restaurant for lobster, in Gloucester, we always go to...YUM!
