My DS stopped by from college with a TON of laundry so that's what I'm doing! It's OK tho as this is only his 2nd time home since Christmas. If it takes tons of laundry to see him, so be it!!

It's actually pretty nice here today. My brother is getting married today at four and I'm trying to come up with reasonable "accident" to get out of wearing the horrible purple bridesmaid dress that makes me look like Barney. My dress is not half as bad as the silver dress shirt and purple tie DH has to wear though - why is it necessary to torture the wedding party with fashion mistakes? I can't wait for the photos!

Rain is all gone here...going to be HOT. We are gearing up to go to a neighborhood garage sale this morning. Have to drink my coffee first.

So are we! Maybe the same neighborhood. Getting a late start because DS had a friend spend the night and he's not picked up yet. Later we're heading out to the Arts Festival in Fort Worth.

I'm working on my plans for my romantic May 5-7 weekend getaway to Laguna Beach, CA, for me and a female friend of mine who lives in Newport Beach, CA.

Our 8:00 am soft ball game was called for rain. I'm coaching Volley ball at 12:00. Have I told you what a challenge 6th grade girls are? My 5th graders are still normal.

1:20 softball pictures than we are going to dinner with 2 other families.

If it stops raining DH is putting up our "new shutters" Sunday. I bought them 2 years ago...are they still new?

I knew my DH was hiding something!! Does he snore alot with you?

I guess I probably have the strangest plans for this weekend: I have to attend an Autopsy at 2:00 on a Saturday afternoon. Yuck!!!!

Doing lessons for next week, glossing to songs for worship service tomorrow, going to our favorite restaurant if dh ever gets home.
Tomorrow church, home and rest a bit and then back to church to interpret 101 class.

Younger DD and I went to Earthfest this morning, then to my nephew's baseball game, and then we ate at McDonald's for lunch with DH's family. I think I may go take a nap.

This morning I did all my housework and laundry. Tonight I am going to pick up something for dinner, play Disney Scene It with DD and then watch a movie with DH.

Today I went to Gymboree to exchange dd's swimsuits that were too small. Tonight I am going on a date with dh to our local Little League Social at a steakhouse. I think it will be fun.

I'm finally over the mumps! Took DD to swim class this morning (but let daddy get in with her -- I didn't want to push it) then went to lunch. Went shopping with my mom to look at furniture for my brother, who's buying a new house.

Tonight is Thunder Over Louisville, the country's LARGEST fireworks display. I'm not getting in that mess -- 700,000 people on the waterfront!! It IS a gorgeous display, but I'd rather watch "Cops" on TV and have a martini and be in bed before most of them are even home!

ETA: It's 78 F and not a cloud in the sky here!

We were lazy today. I just did some laundry, watched TV, napped and now I'm making tacos.

Let's see....took dd6 to the dr. @ 9am ....she has strep throat, then to mcdonalds for a treat, then to blockbuster....got home, cleaned a little...took ds to friends for sleepover......got back home, threw on bathingsuit (eeewwww) and laid out!!
tonight we are going to take dd for some ice-cream and then home for movies.
(she's not contagious anymore, just not feeling good....also had a shot in her bootie )

Watching video from our first family trip to WDW with our kids in 99. Wow they have grown! They are so cute in the video, meeting characters for the first time, watching the fireworks, riding Buzz and spinning aroung in circles in the teacups. What fun! It is such a great way to spend a rainy day gets us excited for our 14th trip in June.

This morning we had an early appointment with the SBA for our loan. We then proceeded to our annual crayfish festival where I ate a bunch of mudbugs. Just got home and plan on kicking back the rest of the weekend.
