What are you doing for the first time this trip?

Now, new things for the next trip!
My first visit during Epcot Flower & Garden
First time having dinner at Narcoossee's and BOG (have had lunch at BOG)
7DMT, of course. Also, Frozen Sing-Along
And I just might, might talk myself into finally trying Everest. :scared1:

I'm also glad to see this thread again. I don't think I posted an update here (apologies if I have).
On this year's trip, I did everything above except dinner at Narcoossee's (I switched to Yachtsman's Steakhouse once I figured out that would be my primary Epcot day). But I DID ride Everest! It was super scary but kind of fun and I can't swear I wouldn't do it again someday. I bought myself an EE cap to commemorate the event.

Preliminary firsts for the 2016 trip, which is still in very early planning stages:
Dinner at Narcoossee's
Hope to eat at Harambe Marketplace for lunch on my AK day.
Finally going to visit AOA and take a better look around POP (took the bus to POP this year, but persistent rain meant I didn't venture much past the main building).
Next year's big adventure: I'm making only 3 ADRs ahead of time (Via Napoli, Flying Fish and Narcoossee's) and trying for some last-minute/same day/next day ADRs through MDE if I want any other TS meals. This is shockingly spontaneous and unplanned for me. But, I'm solo, not going at peak times, and open to trying whatever's available.

I'm not crazy enough to dream the new Frozen ride will be open by April 15, but if it is...

And I'm honestly contemplating a first flight on Delta through ATL next year because I am so fed up with the chaos that is American EAGLE (delay, delay, cancel, delay) and DFW Terminal B (if you're lucky, your gate will change only 3 times while you're waiting, and you won't end up at Gate B48/49 where most people stand around or sit on the floor because there is not enough seating nearby). (And sorry, Southwest is out until they add more flights here and quit trying to send me through Midway.) Rant over.

Eagerly waiting for rates and seasons for 2016 to come out so I can start getting serious!

Wishes Fireworks Dessert Party
Candlelight Processional Dinner Package (although we have seen CP several times and LOVE it!)
Christmas decorations at Beach Club (we like to take an afternoon to tour resorts looking at decorations -- GF and WL are particularly awesome!)

  • SDMT
  • Drinking around the world to celebrate DD's 21st birthday

I think these trips will knock out every single ride and show at Disney for me (except Stitch's Great Escape and Mission Space - which I will probably choose never to do). Now on to stay at every resort and eat at every restaurant. :wishgoal

Firsts for the upcoming in September:

- Staying at Port Orleans Riverside

- First time in September (I think)

Oh, and I forgot this important one:

- I'll be wearing a red MagicBand (not my blue one)

All the things! :)

First trip, just booked the room, super excited! We're DL vets, so technically I suppose some things aren't truly "firsts" but we've never done them in Florida. :)

In September, I'm doing these things for the first time because it's my 2YO DD's first visit:

- Frozen Sing-Along
- Anna & Else meet & greet
- Honey, I Shrunk the Kids playground
- Seven Dwarfs Mine Car (that will probably be a mommy & daddy only since I doubt she'll be tall enough)
- Disney Junior - Live on Stage
- The Boneyard playground
- Enchanted Tales with Belle
- updated TestTrack (another Mommy/Daddy only ride)
- Kidcot Fun Spots
- Tusker House character breakfast
- Hollywood & Vine lunch with Disney Junior characters
- 'Ohanan character breakfast
- Chef Mickey's for dinner (only did breakfast before)
- Going to WDW with a child

Gospel brunch at House of Blues
Via Napoli
Liberty Tree Tavern
Sushi at the Japan pavillion and Illuminations from the terrace.
Behind the Seeds tour

This August will be my 13th trip to the world. There's not many firsts I can still do (besides resorts I haven't stayed at yet) but there are a couple...

- Doing a pre-opening breakfast in the parks (Crystal Palace and Hollywood & Vine)
- Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage
- First time driving instead of flying (we've done it twice when I was younger, but my father always drove)
- First vacation with my girlfriend and her son

-Frozen Summer Fun Package
-Meeting Merida
-1900 Park Fare Ever After Dinner
-Chef Mickey's
-Not hyper planning too much. LoL

Our only first this trip was Crystal Palace lunch. I was on the fence about doing a character meal at all, but after seeing how much DS2 LOVED it (and also the food was delicious) I think we may make this a regular place. The characters came around 2-3 times while we were there. And his favorite is Pooh, so this was just perfect.

I love reading everyone's "first" ideas. Reminds me that I like to include something new each trip, too!

Staying at CBR
MNSSHP
Kali River Rapids
Frozen sing-a-long
Biergarten
Garden Grill
Cape May Café
1900 Park Fare
Whispering Canyon Café
Tusker House

We don't usually have the dining plan. We are so excited to try all these restaurants!

Taking my wife and 2 friends to Disney. Its one of our friend's first time. I'm a CP alum and have been to Disney at least 10+ times.

- Going in November for the first time. Have been January-July and October but never November.
- Eating at Kona Cafe (dinner), Beaches and Cream (Late snack) and 1900 Park Fare (breakfast) for the first time.
