Everyone,
I was just seeing what everyone was doing for Halloween....Parties, trick or treating with the kids, or maybe just trick or treating with yourself. DO you decorate your house alot or not at all.........Just wondering we are haveing a little party at my house then going to a bigger party at a friends work.......They are turning their entire office into a giant haunted house for about 200 people......Its going to be fun.........Cant wait to see what you guys are doing........

I will be subbing in a 6th grade class and have learned we will be having cider and donuts while watching a fun movie.

In the evening, I will be passing out candy to Trick or Treaters!:bounce:

I was supposed to go to HHN at IOA at some point before Halloween, but it doesn't look like I'll be able to. But that's ok because I'm missing out on it due to extra work days, which I need. I'll be working halloween night 'til somewhere between 7 and 9. No plans.

Next Sunday we will go to the local Halloween Parade. Its a big event in this city and a decent parade. It usually lasts well over an hour. Most kids dress up for it, so thats always fun. Then on Thursday we will start out trick or treating near my house. After we hit a few houses here(we dont really have a good place to go) we go to my parents house(1/2 mile away) and hit their neighborhood.

We are going to MNSSHP next Sunday. On halloween, a few of my neighbors and I take the kids trick or treating around the neighborhood. Usually with a beer or cocktail in hand. I don't know about you guys, but with all the stuff going on in the world combined with what you deal with in day to day life, work & family stuff, I am finding myself more stressed and unable to get into a holiday spirit more than ever. Last Halloween, I was crying as I put on my daughters vampire makeup because I was paranoiaing out that I might somehow be rubbing anthrax on her face. (I am a letter carrier) As we trick-or-treated last year, with my friend, a flight attendant, we were all pretty stressed and down. I'm hoping this year will be better, although its sad to know people in the dc area will probably not be able to t or t at all.:(
