What are you currently excited about?

I'm excited to have running water again.

We're kind of cursed when it comes to Disney vacations. Before every Disney vacay, since the kids were born, we have some kind of big issue come up shortly before the trip. I don't want to make like this was the biggest catastrophe ever and it's not been the worst of the pre-trip issues over the years, but it wasn't fun either. In a nutshell, a pipe up near the street separated from the joint coupling piece and we had no water in the house...but had a "lovely" fountain coming out near one of the trees. They had to dig up a portion of my yard and my wallet is a lot lighter, but I no longer have to rely on thawing my emergency water bottles in the deep freeze to flush the toilets or showering at the neighborhood pool...and it could always be worse.

There's something to be excited about for sure! Glad it got fixed.

Awesome - have a wonderful time, and if you do a dining report elsewhere here, please let me know, as I'd love to read it!
If you can, please remember to put a link to it here, so I can read it!

Anybody else that's going to do a dining or trip report elsewhere here fro the MegaMeet, I'd love to read too, so if you remember to put links here (or in your sigs), that would be awesome!! Got to live vicariously through you! :)

Having been without power and/or water or a laundry room (and especially heat) for extended time periods several times in the last 10 years or so due to mostly flooding, I can relate, Tigger. NOT fun at all, especially not in the summer. Glad you have it back okay, sorry you have to deal with the expense. I can kind of relate there - have a tooth going bad that apparently was not done/maintained correctly for many years (root canal, crown ,post) that now needs to come out and an implant - which is NOT cheap at ALL!! Already have one gap above up from another tooth that did same thing last year. that I decided not to spend the money on :( And I have always gone to dentist every 6 months like I'm supposed to - does NOT make me happy! :(

I'll probably be trying to do a trip report on the Mega Meet trip. I'm usually good at finishing my trip reports, except for the ABD Backstage Magic, I've been very busy this summer and haven't managed to finish that one.

During the mega meet I'll be attending one of Ryno's vlog sessions, the podcast taping, the Epcot dessert party and the connecting with walt on Main Street.

Summer power outages are the worst! We're going on 8 years since it happened, but we were without power for several weeks after Hurricane Ike and I was 8 mos pregnant. I think it was 95+ every day after the storm passed. I'm sorry about the dental issues. Dental work can be a real budget killer. I've heard doing any kind of implants is obscenely expensive. I'm sure it can't be comfortable either. :(

Currently excited because I just got a call today confirming the reservation for @msteddom and I, for the Chef's Table at Victoria and Albert's next week! We lucked into the reservation and I'm thrilled to experience it.

That's awesome! We've only done the regular dining room at V&A and that was amazing - I can't even imagine how incredible the Chef's Table will be!

you definitely don't appreciate having running water ... until you no longer have running water

For coming up soon I'm excited for my September trip. It'll be the first time I get to go to Disney with my bestie. It his his birthday and his and his partners 10th anniversary so sure to be a fun time. 16 of us at Be Our Guest which was his only want and I managed to get it.

Further out I am crazy excited for our Disneyland/D23 Expo trip exactly a year from now. I don't get to Disneyland as much as WDW since we are on the east coast and those flights are brutal on you. It is going to be a massive splurge trip in some aspects so sure to be a lot of fun.

I hope all here fortunate enough to be attending any of the amazing events for the 10th anniversary have safe and speedy travels back and forth, and a pixiedust: magical trip and experience overall. Please keep those of us who aren't with you in your thoughts, and if you post any trip or dining reports elsewhere, I'd be forever grateful if you'd consider putting links to them here, so I can vicariously live your happiness!! Hugs to any of The Team you get to meet too! :)

Awesome Pete, thanx! Went over there, and left a comment. Got so excited reading about your being there! :)

Looking forward to our September trip which is our first time staying at the Poly. More importantly, it's my parents first time ever staying at a Deluxe! They are very excited and we can't wait to share the experience with them!
