What are things you feel awkward doing ?

Phone conversations.
Ordering food.
Paying for things.
Having pictures taken.
Being infront of an audience.

For me, getting my hair done at a salon is awkward. I feel rude if I don't make small talk but I also don't want to be rude by talking too much... And I hate talking into the mirror, it just feels funny.

I find that awkward too.



Also when you're the only person in a store and it's just you and the employee.

When I see someone I sort of know in public, I never know what to say!

Calling people I don't know.

Asking the people who work in a store where things are.

Saying 'Have a nice day' to customers when they're with a friend who's in line too, because you never know if they're going to stay with the friend or just leave.

When I get back from the orthodontist and it's in the middle of a class and the door is shut so I have to knock. If the door is open I just kind of sneak in.

Getting my haircut. I hate talking to them, but they still insist on making small talk, which I'm not good at.

and talking to people i don't really know on teh phone
or talking to someone i haven't talked to in a long time
or when a teacher is helping me and everyone is looking at you

I hate it when people are on the phone and they mumble. Either that or the dude was drunk.

Anyway, I hate hate hate looking at something in the store and someone coming right next to me. GET.OUT.OF.MY.SPACE. Thanksomuch.

I hate it when people watch me while I'm brushing my teeth. My friend use to do that to me in the mornings, while getting ready for school.
Also I don't like it when you walk into a store and the workers like follow you around.
Or when my mom makes me answer HER phone, when she's driving.

when store clerks come up and ask you if you need any help, its kinda like, "no, im fine, leave me alone. if i need help ill come find YOU"
running into someone who you didnt see in a long time..but they try to talk to you like its only been 5 minutes since youve seen each other ? (hard to follow, sorry) basically, akward conversations where theres nothing to be said

That happens to me all the time! We get a lot of elderly people who call my work and they pretty much whisper into the phone. So I always feel like an incompetant human being when I keep asking them to repeat what they said when all the want to know is if Tylenol is still on sale. Ugh, it's awful.

And that is why I'm glad I'm not allowed to answer the phone at work. I have a hard enough timeunderstanding the customers in person.

This is why it's really hard to get a job. I worked at a nursing home, nothing is more awkward than taking care of old people.

I'm like that a lot of the time with most people, and sometimes I'm not on the same wavelength as my friends and they get so confused and don't know what to say....

Oh I hate walking up the stairs in a movie theatre! Even while the movie is playing. I went today and I had to pee so I got up and went and ugggh it's awful! [btw I lost my flip-flop to the row in front of my so I went shoe-less...well one shoe-less!]
