We are staying at POR in November. We haven't been to WDW in 3 years & I was thinking about splurging on a deluxe. For breakfast, and a dinner or 2 we usually grab something at a food court. I know that deluxes don't have food courts - but what DO they offer?

Boardwalk: Boardwalk Bakery (breakfast sandwiches; for lunch paninis, but limited)

Beach Club: Beachclub Marketplace (sandwiches, salads)

Yacht Club: Hurricane Hannah's (poolside outdoor grill...burgers, sandwiches, etc.)

Those are the ones I know of for sure, and all are on the dining plan for a CS credit. There are also a couple of places on the Boardwalk, not included in the dining plan, like the pizza window, which would be nice for a lunch. I have researched that area since we are in the process of buying a DVC resale at BWV and will be spending A LOT of time there!! (Boy does it feel good to say that!!). ;)

The Poly has Captain Cook as it's counter service. I haven't gotten there since the old CS was updated but in addition to the meals you see on the menu, they do have some other packaged snacks available.

You were specifically asking about breakfast - they offer the Poly TONGA TOAST which usually was only available at the TS Kona Cafe (still is). I am really looking forward to that. I think the menu for the Counter Service is pretty up to date and you might want to check that out.

Have fun! :thumbsup2

AKL has Mara and WL has Roaring Forks, SSR has Artists Palette, OKW has Goods to Go.
Menus can all be found her on the Dis or on allears. Look by resort and you'll see the TS & CS options at each resort.

Beach Club Marketplace has a ham and cheese omelet croissant for breakfast, which we liked and had more than once. They've got sandwiches like ham and cheddar, roast beef and brie, turkey, and a grilled vegetable wrap. They also have a make-your-own salad that I really liked a lot and had more than once on the trip.
The brownies at Marketplace are also the best!
