What are the perks of an AP?

We're considering getting these and want to know what perks they'd offer other than the obvious of saving money if we go often enough to justify the cost.

Can you get ticket discounts for guests that do not have an AP? Room discounts? Meal discounts? Any special AP holder functions?

Room Discounts: Yes

Shopping Discounts: At Downtown Disney - Yes, in some stores such as the world of Disney. Inside the parks - No (at least not that I know of)

Dining Discounts: Yes, at specified places but not all WDW restaurants.

You have to do the calculation of how many days you will be in WDW. You used to break even after 8 days. It also depends on how much you plan to shop at downtown Disney - it can really work out for some people - especially if you are big shoppers.

AP holders can also get special rates at Cirque shows, mini golf, water parks (if you don't have the AP-Plus).

This month there is a special AP preview for the new Stitch ride.

**Annual Pass Entitlements

• Your Annual Pass entitles you to admission (during normal operating hours) to Magic Kingdom Park, Epcot, Disney-MGM Studios, Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, as well as Theme Park parking (excluding special events) and the flexibility to visit multiple Parks and locations on the same day.
