What are the odds?

If I’m in the app at 7am with decent wifi refreshing etc, what would y’all guess the chances are of getting ROTR and/or Slinky? (There’ll be two of us- one for each attraction.) This the will be during Spring Break.

I know that no one really knows how it will play out but I think having more realistic expectations is going to be good and it’ll help me try to figure out how many days we should spend trying.

I got both. I did ROTR first with a return time of 11 or so. Then I tried for slinky and got a return of 3. It was very busy that day too can't imagine spring break too much worse. Might be wrong though. Did it at 7 exactly.

I agree with previous poster - high chance of success, especially if you have 2 people in there to handle both reservations. Those odds go way down by 7:30, however! Good luck.

Yea if you have two people your chances are probably better than mine. It was just me doing both for my party. I didn't think I would have a chance at slinky because ROTR was the priority but was pleasantly surprised.

Oh- good-thank you so much- this gives me hope that it will work out on at least one of our days :) I was in Disneyland last summer with a different group and some days we got ROTR and other days we didn’t but it sounds like our chances are better here!

I think the odds of getting ROTR are a lot better with ILL$ than with the old VQ system. Having to pay $15 probably deters some people from trying to grab a spot on multiple days of their trip, and pushes others to the standby line.

ROTR is still in very high demand, but the field of competitors has been reduced.

If there is just one of you doing it what’s best to go for first ROTR or slinky

We were able to get both when we were there between Christmas and New Years (and trying to hop off the skyliner at Caribbean Beach at the same time! 🤪)

When I was looking this morning, SDD ran out before Rise. Just monitor in the mornings for a bit before your trip so you can see what the pattern is at that time maybe.
good luck!

Good Luck to you I think you'll have no trouble...maybe not the EXACT times you want but you'll get to ride the rides!

Definitely don't give up at 7:01 when both show not available. I got both at 7:10 after refreshing for 10 minutes.
