What are the odds??

So we have Dec. 28th-January 1st booked at an AKL studio (had to pay extra points for a savannah because it's the only studio available- augh!) what are my odds of being able to switch at my 7 month mark to Wilderness Lodge Villas in a studio? I'm thinking slim to none but would love to stay there at Christmas time, anyone had any luck getting this ressie at 7 months?

I have a similiar question. What are the chances of getting either a 1 bdrm or a Studio at VWL at the 7 month window? We would be checking in the Sat BEFORE x-mas and checking out on x-mas day.

It will be tough, but never say never. Friends of ours got a studio at the WLV last year, and that was about 5 months out. I don't think that's a usual occurrence, but it shows that anything is possible!

The odds are not in your favor, but it isn't impossible. You never know until you try. Nothing to lose since you have a back up reservation.

Be sure you call MS as soon as it opens on the first day your 7 month window opens. Waitlist if there is no availability.

Lesley, we have AKV for the first week of Dec, and I called yesterday to try for WLV 2bedrm, notta... had to waitlist, sending your way for a studio

December will be difficult to get your waitlist filled. Many of us own at VWL just to get the 11 month booking window for December.
