What are the odds of MVMCP selling out early?

I'm debating on whether or not to get our tickets now. I'm hesitate in doing something like this so soon because what if the weather is bad? Do you think I should wait and book it when we arrive or should I call and book now?

The Friday nights sellout early. I don't think the rest did in prior years. We went on Sunday or Tuesday nights the past 3 or 4 years and got our tickets when we checked in.

Thanks Debbie! I'm definitely not going to go to it on the weekend that's for sure! I was thinking either Tuesday or Thursday during our trip.

Keep an eye on the DIS. If/When the first MVMCP sells out (and I agree it will be one of the Firday nights), then consider buying your tickets for one of the weeknight events.

Even though all of the MVMCP events have not sold out the past few years, I think this year may be different. Attendance in general is up and tourism seems to be recovering. Lately, Disney has been offering fewer and less generous nearly back to pre-2001 patterns - I can remember when all MVMCP events did sell out ahead of time.

Anyway, FWIW, I don't think you have to worry until we get word that one or more of the Friday nights have sold out.

JMHO. YMMV.

Best wishes -

Thanks Carol! I'll do just that!

I agree with previous posters, watch when the weekend nights start selling out, many people have had to postpone trips due to the hurricanes which may indeed influence more people booking trips in the future so therefore they may sell out sooner this year. As for weather, usually there are no hurricanes so I don't think that that will be a problem......it maybe cold though, it never fails that I always seem to be there on the coldest night! Oh well it gets you into the Christmas spirit...........There is a huge difference in the crowds on the weekends compared to the weeknights and also as you get closer to the holidays.

I think I'm mostly concerned about heavy rain - that would be no fun! And expensive at $139 for the tickets for 4 of us.
