We tend to do counter-service dining on vacations, especially at Disney destinations. We prefer the counter-service restaurants at the WDW value and moderate resorts to all the deluxe resorts at WDW and DL. It seems that all the deluxe resorts' counter-service offerings are flatbreads, burgers, chicken tenders, salads, sandwiches, and maybe one unique item. It would be nice if the deluxe resorts had more complete, balanced meals like starch (besides fries)/cooked vegetables/protein. WDW value and moderate resorts have several options that meet this criterion. Ulu's options fall between WDW/DL moderate/value resorts and deluxe, where we may find dinner options twice on a week-long vacation, but end up venturing offsite to ABC (across the street) or Kapolei.
