Yep, they do it poolside. That is the one place that I took the time to let DD do it.

Sorry about that! I didn't even pay any attention to the "locals" part of the post. I just focused on the fact that the hair braiding was mentioned. Yes it is mentioned but it is by Disney CM's at the pool. Again, sorry. Sometimes I need to pay more attention to what I am reading!

Being a Sanibel Island resident and a life long beach goer, the most dangerous thing that you can run into at almost any beach would be the sand that gets stuck in your shorts. Then the shells that fall out of your crevaces for the next two days when you are having your shower.
